Having problems with multiple devices connected

Currently I have my Netduma connected straight into my modem, then I have my Xbox One and my PC wired into the Netduma. I also have an Xbox 360, and 2 iPhones connected via wifi. My internet speed is somewhere around 57 down, and 6 up, but I seem to be having problems with lagging, especially when the 360 is being used for Netflix, my PC is being used for Youtube, and my Xbox One is being used for COD. Any suggestions?

I had originally had my Netgear Nighthawk router plugged straight into my modem, and then the netduma was plugged into it, with my Xbox One and PC being wired from the Netduma, and the other Xbox, and 2 iPhones being connected via wifi to the Nighthawk. This way seemed to work well, with all devices having the speeds that I pay for, but if I switched my laptop to wifi, my Nighthawk is next to my PC, the speeds weren't the same as they were when it was hard wired.

I also tried the opposite and having the Netduma connected first, then the Nighthawk router. It seemed to be okay at first, but when Netflix was being used the speeds overall decreased drastically, and I encountered lag, and multiple times I was kicked from the lobby due to connection issues with the host.

I may possibly be doing something wrong, but if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

The first explanation you give is right you need to be running from the Netduma including using all devices from the dumas wifi

That way you are using the Netduma's congestion control to eliminate lag

I am wondering if you have set up congestion control?

If not here is a guide on the congestion control  :)

The best way to run the Netduma is to connect it directly to your modem and have all devices connected to your modem. if you are lagging while watching Netflix with the router set up like that then it is likely that you have not set up congestion control like Zennon said so have a look at the like he posted.

Which set up do you want to use? Then the speed problem can be solved accordingly :)

I just recently arrived home, and I have yet to try to untick share excess. Right now I have my Nighthawk router plugged up to the modem, and then the Netduma plugged up. I am going to try to mess around with the Netduma some later on and see if I can get it all running right. Thank you all for your responses!
