markyp145
Hi, i am trying to set up my netduma with plusnet fibre, which uses a btopenreach modem. However, whenever i connect my netduma to the modem, i get no internet. When I connect the standard plusnet router, i get my internet back? Not sure what i'm doing wrong here? I tried putting what i believe is my ISP username and password in to the PPOE and nothing. I then tried to disable all the other WAN setting and it wouldn't let me disable the MTU. Still nothing? Any help would be appreciated :-)

markyp145
Hey Can you take a look at this and see if it helps at all. Turns out my password was wrong when i was typing it in... never helps! Will give it another go shortly with the correct password. How long will i have to wait to know if its established a connection when i do? Will it be instantaneous, or should i wait 5 minutes to see? Sorry, new to router settings.

I couldn't set the MTU as disabled, whatever that means? Sorry, new to router settings. It should be pretty instantaneous and I would leave everything else disabled except for the MTU item. Yeah, wait 5 mins once you've turned on PPoE and see if it connects, it should do it fairly quickly though You can leave everything else other than MTU disabled on the WAN page.
