philm87
I had the Geo-filter set up at 300 miles, 20 ping assist, and strict mode on. All was working perfectly until the latest Fifa 17 update. Now it fails to connect to a game nearly every time, it's as if it now attempts to connect to the game then the geofilter kicks in after and disconnects it, whereas before it only initiated the connection with people in the geofilter limit. Connects perfectly when the geofilter is turned off, so I know that's the issue, but obviously don't get as good a connection. Also have issues when I increase the distance and even when strict mode is turned off. Has anybody had the same issue and found a way to solve it? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 29, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 29, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! You distance is quite small, would definitely recommend around 650miles. What do you mean you experience issues when expanding your radius? Are you seeing anything being blocked when it doesn't connect to the game? If so please provide me with the IDs.
philm87
Hi Frazer, Many thanks for your response. I mean I still can't connect to a game even when putting the radius up, I tried 1000 miles and above and it still wouldn't connect. Only way I connect (apart from on a very rare occasion) is when I disable the Geo filter. How do I see if anything is being blocked?
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted November 29, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted November 29, 2016 Could you post a screenshot of your geofilter when you're trying to connect? You should be able to tell when things are being blocked; caution triangles and padlocks signify blocked servers / hosts.
