mike
im just trying to get into pvp and i keep getting beaver errors (the game was fine last night btw) , after looking at the geo-filter a padlock now shows up in europe i managed to get the following id :- ID: 1036b37ed3af585d Distance: 1196km im (as some forum members know) uk based , is this something that needs adding to a white list after being checked out or does the cloud need refreshing ? and how long will that take if so ? , as i want to play now not in 4 - 5 hours time. cheers peoples
NorthernFreezer
Yeah I noticed that today too. I had to remove the Host Filtering for a few games then I expanded it way out. I just wish Destiny would go back to CBMM, not sure it will ever happen after the community has been so vocal about not wanting it on Bungie's forums but they have basically said it is staying. frustrated
Hi, usually well once Fraser is informed he will add it to the cloud, then it should update itself, why do they keep changing things, its not like the connection's ever really improve. Although the last Iron banner i played, it played ok for me I was shocked... I honestly think there not even bothered about the matchmaking or connections after the debate on the bungie forums, to them it seemed all ok . mocorleone
I'm having the same problem..I live in New Jersey and changed the geo filter to cover most of the U.S. (enabled only) and I keep getting the beaver error message after I'm booted. Of course i disable "enable" and my next game consisted of players in Mexico, England and Saudi Arabia. Amazing how Bungie keeps insulting us gamers with netduma's that can clearly see there system is broken.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 25, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 25, 2016 You shouldn't have got a padlock if you had strict off. Was this the case? I tested Destiny earlier in the week so that would be rather annoying if they've updated it since then. I'll test it out quickly today, see if I can replicate it. mocorleone
For me, I didn't have see any padlocks on my end but i got booted every time I had ENABLED clicked on with strict off.
mike
strict is unticked ping is at 0 the game was fine the night before , but i expanded my distance out to 1125km and the game connected no padlocks/errors though i did have taken players ie teleporting about and capturing zones the indicator would start to backwards then forwards again as if i had moved out of the zone when i actually hadnt moved at all. unixadmin
Destiny is most definitely broken with Netduma. Strict is OFF. Ping Assist is 0. Padlock host appears in Japan and I was booted from the lobby: http://i.imgur.com/Bl4YIMQ.jpg
unixadmin
My Host Filtering is now OFF, again padlock in Japan shows up on the map and I get booted from the lobby. What the hell is going on here? Notice at the very top of the screenshot "Enabled" checkbox is not ticked: http://i.imgur.com/sZeaKeM.jpg
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 29, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 29, 2016 Can you provide the IDs of those padlocks please as you shouldn't be getting those with strict off. It may need whitelisting

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 30, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 30, 2016 I have made some updates to the cloud. Please see if you now get booted - you may even be able to use strict mode. If you don't get booted please let me know how the games are. Instructions: Untick auto & bleeding edge cloud. Choose the following numbers 27, 25, 27 Apply Keep in mind it may take up to 4 hours to propagate.

unixadmin
Hello I reported these last night in another thread: ID: c834eeb9d167161b Seattle ID: ed36a772d38c4348 Ireland Today I finally caught the ID of the North Carolina (or some state around it) host that gets me kicked: ID: d53625f0d374a0a5 USA (North Carolina, possibly Tenessee) Edit: there seems to be more hosts at that same identical location. Probably a datacenter they moved into with several servers: ID: ff3621ecd39e9fa4 USA (North Carolina, possibly Tenessee) Maybe we can identify all these new servers but I doubt it. As a player just pay attention to your world map and whitelist those padlock hosts with the slider, anywhere in the green will do.
