Fishy Netcode MWR : my findings after playing 500 matches.

What I am saying that there is something sneaky going on with this net code. When the match ends lets say TDM, the winning team most of the time are the ones with the most assist along with this comes good k/d vs the other losing team with all below even scores : example 5-10 ,4-13, 6-16 under 1.0 k/d scores but but... with mainly the whole team having minimal assists ( 0 or 1 each player ) which makes no scene, you would figure the team with less assists should lead to having better connection, better hit detection but from playing close to 500 matches now I have determined from personal experience its the other way around.

Does not happen every match now but it happens often, next time you play MWR in TDM lets say, remember what I said and tell me if you see what I am describing your self.

I would usually assume that if one team has a load of assists and the other team has very few, the winning team with be the one with loads.

Better (or at least more successful) players more effectively use flashbangs / stun grenades / emps, they also create explosive splash damage (blowing up cars, barrels, grenades, etc), they get the odd hit marker even at long range even with an smg, they're more likely to damage a group of players then successfully duck away without the killshot and also use perks that create assists, so they get more assists overall.

They also know when not to chase down an enemy and they end up with extra assists because of this too.

'Bad' players generally don't do any of these things so much, they often focus solely on the gun and tend to get kills (especially in MW+IW) when someone walks past them and they shoot them in the back (butt and legs).

As they're often in a lower traffic areas, so that they're not constantly slaughtered, it's an easy solo kill with little chance of an assist (either the enemy dies or escapes).

Obviously the person with the most assists is not always going to be the player with the most kills. But I would still assume the team with the most assists is playing better than the team with fewer.

I can show you screen shots of bunch of matches where winning team does good and has normal assist, where the enemy whole team all had 0 assist, not normal, winning side always had assists while losers have all 0 or maybe 1-2 one player

You've seen games where the losing team has 0-2 assists per player?

That's not unusual at all. That's what I'd expect.

It just shows less able players not doing very well.

You're getting hung up thinking that a better connections relates to fewer assists.

A better player will get more kill shots but they will also create more chances and should also get more assists.

I can confirm this to be a true via test case.

When I first got the router all I played was BO2 via P2P.  I started tracking the major stats for games to see if my game play really improved.  I EXPECTED to get less assists, because more of my bullets would be connecting (surely there isn't shit wrong with my aim, they call me Deadeye and my accuracy is a Tale of Legend to tell small gamers for a reason  :P ).

Not only was the reverse true, it was lopsidedly so.

I almost doubled by average assists per game because I was taking more shots and get more double kills, but with the double kill attempts, there were still times when the second guy would kill me first.

The difference is prior to the Duma I might not have killed the first guy in the two-piece chain.

I played over 380 games during my testing and saw this to be reliably the case.  With a better connection you will put more bullets into more players.  That will also lead to more assists as more of your bullets are connecting, even if you don't get a kill.

YMMV - but I kind of doubt it on this one after my own testing.  ;) \

PS - Nobody calls me Deadeye btw

And when Deadeye parties up with 'Feet of Michael Flatley', all succumb to our apocalyptic levels of awesome.

We should get the team back together, we could start fresh and call ourselves...

'Prolific Unrivalled Super-Slayers of Incredible and Extreme Superiority'

Catchy and fresh.

If anyone else thinks they have what it takes to get into the team, let us know, we have a slot available.

To be fair the games i have played over the last few nights have been fair connection wise, its just the twats who are on those connections. You get 2 given caps on dom every match but some people don't even bother with them. Utter wankers.
