The_Invader_Kilz
I ran the internet connection test on both the PS4's inbuilt utility and a non-java utility on a PS4 web browser page (www.speedof.me). I performed 4 tests Web test/PS4 test on both wired and wireless. 2.4/874kb wired and 34/6Mb wireless. It is my understanding that direct wired is faster. Why is there such a large disparity? Direct to my Virgin router in modem mode I easily get 80/16Mb. I've gone through the Wiki and help pages, searched the forum and videos. I've followed all the advice and settings but still can't get anywhere near my usual speeds. I don't even see Destiny's servers in the geo-filter. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using Virgin Super hub -----> Netduma (latest FW)----> PS4 (latest FW)
II N3MES1S II
The ideal setup would be a normal modem without any wifi or built in router. You might have alot of interference around your setup causing the wifi to not be as strong. Check out the wifi analyzer app and find out the best channel to have your wifi on. Too many people in your neighborhood might be on the same channel.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted November 11, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted November 11, 2016 Welcome to the Forum So whilst you might have tried our solutions, we would recommend these settings; - Pre-emptive Algorithm - 100% anti-flood - Share excess enabled - Reset device prioritisation & apply - Ensure the ethernet cables you're using are correct- try switching it out for another CAT6 cable. - Do a wired speed test from a PC Make sure you have the Destiny profiler selected, but Destiny uses a hybrid of Dedicated servers and P2P, so you might not always see the hosts on the Geofilter. This also will not be affected by what speeds you are getting.
