CDubLDD
So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, and I've looked for other threads similar to this but couldn't find anyone with my exact problem. I've had the netduma for about 3 months now and I feel I've spent more time trying to configure this thing than actually being able to play any games. It feels like I literally have to change the settings on the Duma during every game and it is to the point I feel like I wasted my money. But, my situation is I am not getting my full speeds (200d/20u) from my netduma with my configuration. Those speeds are also what I have input into the set bandwidth. I've tested out the connection being directly connected and get full speeds, but the netduma is in the living room and I have my setup in my bedroom with my pc and PS4, so I am not able to connect directly to the Duma when I actually want to play. I am using a powerline adapter, and when I have it connected to my pc I only get half of my download speed and full upload speed. The powerline adapter only has 1 Ethernet plugin, so if I do any speed tests on my pc (but actually playing on my PS4 wirelessly) and try to adjust accordingly for buffer bloat or the congestion control I feel it doesn't do any help, or vice versa if I have my PS4 connected to the powerline adapter, and try to do a Speedtest from my pc wirelessly, I only get about 40 download. And when I try to adjust for that in the cc for bufferbloat my settings are completely different. I have no idea what to do and keep getting more frustrated with it. I hope someone has a solution to this as I am completely lost now
Slipknot31286sic6
U never game or speed test wireless ever.
CDubLDD
I understand that. That wasn't the point of this post. I heard this community was helpful and considerate...
Slipknot31286sic6
Well for one max u can achieve wireless is usually 40mb cuz wireless is for range in netduma Regarding speed Congestion control 100/100 reactive Misc. Disable deep packet processing, turn off ip6, turn on turbo mode
CDubLDD
All of that has been done. I've read suggestion from other posts and tried those, like setting the sliders to 70%, changing device prioritization, using the preloaded profiles etc. I feel like I have tried everything I can think of

ColonicBoom
So what's your question? If you want to know what speed is getting through your Netduma then you need to plug an ethernet into it and run a series of speed tests. Use the settings that Slipknot said and then test it, you should be able to get those full speeds through the Netduma. If you're not then you'll need to post up your settings so we can see what isn't correct. If you are getting your full speeds through, then you can then go upstairs and run a speed test through your power-line adaptors (ethernet to the computer, not the PS4 speed tests because it is likely not as accurate). If you then find there is a discrepancy between the speeds at the Netduma and at the power line adaptor then it is highly likely that the power line adaptor is the bottleneck. If not, then you're golden.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 8, 2016 For your speeds: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode Enable super turbo mode Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. Do a wired speed test from a PC In regards to settings I wouldn't worry about bufferbloat at all, as Zennon has said previously bufferbloat only happens around the point of saturation and at 70% anti-flood it does not saturate. I feel like most of your frustration is feeling like that there has to be perfect settings and then you'll dominate in every single game so you keep changing your settings to find that. I would recommend the following then just leaving it alone and focus on playing: ALL devices connected to the R1 70/70 anti-flood Console in hyper traffic ~1000km radius Strict on Ping assist 0 Play wired if possible as wireless will always be less reliable In terms of wireless as well use a WiFi analyser to find the least congested channel in your area then change to that. You may be able to boost your WiFi speeds a bit by doing this.
