Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted May 4, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted May 4, 2015 So I bought a VPN (Express VPN) and set it up with the R1. It works fine, but I have a question about the 'VPN Exclude' feature. I added 'Google services including Youtube' to the exclusion list but when I search 'my ip' into google it shows my the VPNs IP, not my IP. Shouldn't I see my real IP now that I've added google to the exclusion list?

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted May 5, 2015 Administrators Share Posted May 5, 2015 oh did you add it manually. Yeah google use a bunch of servers so if you want that IP to come back you need to find a list of them. Its a bit of a pain in the ass, is there any reason in particular mate? Oh right, I see No reason in particular, I was just wanted to make sure that the exception was working. I think it is though because YouTube vids didn't buffer at all as soon as I added google as an exception.
