ThatGuy
Hey guys, I'm having a few frustrating problem with Netduma, which I'm sure my setup is the problem or lack of knowledge. One issue I'm having is when I'm gaming with alone it's great! But when I'm with friends the lag is so insane it's not fun for any of us. I realized I have to come off the router and use LAN when I'm on with friends. I tried the whole Geo Filter thing and failed. There is a way to allow them to utilize what my router is doing correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 3, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 3, 2016 What do you mean you have to come off the router and use LAN? Do you mean you were previously connected via WiFi? If so would always recommend a wired connection. You do need to be host if you want to get everything into a local game. Otherwise they are the server they were going to join would get blocked. You can see how to add your friends to your allow list here: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022357--with-the-geo-filter-how-do-i-play-with-friends-
BENORMOUS
which console are you playing on?if you are playing on xbox and you are in party chat then I highly recommend you ditch it and use game chat, party chat is causing serious lag and jitter spikes when gaming, use game chat and it disappears
fuzzy clam
How do I make myself the host Host is just the party leader and as said above to add your friends the easiest way is to go into a private match and invite 1 friend at a time (so you don't get confused on who's who) and click on his circle and rate him 100% and give him a name in the "HANDLE" box and click update. And for each friend you game with just follow the same process and you'll be all set.
