II Z IE IR O II
If downloading Salvation on the PS4 is taking hours, try disabling R1 (untick "Enable" on host filter screen) and see if it helps with downloading. It saved me 3-5 hrs. Being that I have a 300Mbps download connection, what once showed me 5 hrs to download (while R1 was enabled) is now showing me 80 min (with R1 disabled) to download. Just be aware that everyone that plays BO3 on the PS4 and preordered Salvation, is pre loading the DLC so congestion is definitely a FACTOR! Hope this helps! bagsta69
Sometimes pausing the download for a few seconds and resuming also cuts the time a lot.
II Z IE IR O II
Sometimes pausing the download for a few seconds and resuming also cuts the time a lot. yeah, that works too, but i found that it usually goes back to 4+ hours after awhile. But then again, if you have a slow download connection, downloading a 9gig file must seem like forever. These downloads are getting ridiculous if you ask me. bagsta69
WOW 9 gig? I already decided they have enough of my money for imo a piss poor effort so am not buying anymore. I don't think I will buy any dlc for IW as on PS4 you cannot disable it so if you buy 1 pack you are in for the lot unless you want terrible matchmaking in a small pool of players. Why they don't just include the maps on the disk and grant access codes to people who purchase is beyond me. I am sure they have done it like that in the past. ColonicBoom
Also when doing large updates / downloads people should delete their Xbox/PS4 from hyper-lane. Not only will it stop your download from crushing your network for everyone else, it will also speed up the download by about 20%. I think hyper-lane can just get overwhelmed when it's trying to handle more than the standard small gaming packets.
