Netduma stops working.

Hello.

 

I recently bought the netduma for use as my main router. However I notice that the internet cuts off and I can't access the router settings (192.168.88.1). The lights are still on when I lose internet. After plugging it out and back in it works for a bit but it happens again 2-3 hours later. Anyway to fix this as I don't want to constantly unplug and replug the r1 every time it happens?

 

I'm currently on the newest firmware.1.03.6h

Hi, are you connecting via WiFI when you get the drops?

 

Have you un ticked the WiFi workaround in misc settings? If not do so.

As above, is this via ethernet or wifi that you are experiencing these issues?

 

If WiFi follow the above as well as using a WiFi analyser to find the least congested channel and change to that. You can also change to PSK2 security mode.

Hello Zennon and Fraser. The thing is it doesn't only affect Wifi, it also affects Ethernet as well. Even when ethernet devices don't work, the router page won't load and the default gateway basically disappears for all devices. The lights stay on for the R1(Power and port lights). As soon as I unplug and replug, Boom, default gateway shows up once more in IPconfig and troubleshooter.

Can you try a different ethernet cable between the R1 and you ISP hub please and see if the issue still persists.
