JediLogic
Hey guys need some help here, I purchased my Netduma a week ago, after struggling finding the right settings for a couple of hours, I found some good one's that worked for me, I had great connection and everything was great, a few day's later I decided to tweak a couple thing's and it's been hell ever since, I keep getting thrown into matches with players in South America (I live in Florida), and their connections are awful I'm being killed by skipping players over and over and the hit detection is awful as well, I have lowered the ping raised the ping changed geo locations and still no luck, majority of the players i'm matched with are in South America. Also I notice there is a dedicated server in Georgia but I keep connecting to the one in the mid United States, is there a way to fix this?, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can connect to players that actually live within the United States?. I'm on the NJ server and I constantly get people in South America and Puerto rico so I can only imagine how it is for you... What has worked best for me is to connect to the mid west servers by setting my location to avoid the NY/NJ servers as well as the florida and georgia servers... I ping 40ms to them and I get better gameplay, especially to the Missouri server
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 27, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 27, 2016 Hey welcome to the forum! Have your location over Florida with ~1000km range, strict mode on and ping assist at 0. This should ensure everything is inside your radius. As Fraser said I would just have your GF set to cover Florida,Georgia, and Alabama all those states have several banks of dedi's that you should be easily able to connect to every time. And again just make sure you have strict mode ticked on your host filtering page along with PA set to 0 (zero) and you should be good to go.
