I am sick of bt and the problem i keep experiencing on a regular basis . 2-3 times a month i am experiencing a massive drop in download speed , i always get between 60-70 down but every two to three weeks i get a problem where i only get 10-20 down. Some times i can fix this problem by turning my bt hub off and until my speeds go back to normal if this doesnt work i need to phone bt up and i get the usual there is a problem with your line blah blah then it is fixed in a few days time . I checked the speeds as my gaming has been really bad every lobby i join is laggy but not sure if its just coincidence .What should i do any advice welcome thanks

Run the netdduma diagnostics or ping plotter to find out if it is also creating jitter spikes, I would run them regularly, you can hand this info to BT.

Have they send out a new HH5 at all?

My results dont seem to change when this problem occurs . Netduma diagnostics are ping good - jitter exceptional - spikes exceptional - no packet loss . I shouldnt need to phone bt up every month with the same problem surely ? Im not sure if it is a problem that can be affecting my gaming or not . When i first got the netduma for black ops 3 i didnt have a problem with this issue with my speeds and by god i noticed the difference with the netduma , now the last 4 months i have been experiencing this problem with my line i have had nothing but problems with black ops 3 with the netduma . My speed issues are straight from the bthh 5 wired so its not the netduma setup wrong. Have tried turning off and on the btth5 several times and my speed is still 20 down when it should be 60 70. So i need to phone bt again

Normally with loss of speed it is because of a line fault caused by errors as the DLM try's to fixes the errors also introducing interleaving.

Does your base ping rise at all during the speed slow downs?
