Help with Geofilter

Recommended Posts

Hello ,

I need help or maybe some understanding about netduma.

My setup is FIOS Routter- R1-Switch-Netgear Switch.

I am using 1.03.6g  firmware.

I am using for pvp with destiny. We set up at orbit and all my friend in one psn chat channel . However, some of them is not showing up at the geofilter map or they are not in their location. For example.  I have a friend at vancouver bc but he was showed up at eastern seaboard USA or the other at the Southern Africa.

I am trying to figure out, what is my mistake.

Thank you

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Ensure your map is zoomed out all the way, invite your friends one by one, they should show up on the Geo-filter even if blocked then you can add them to your allow list.

If they're showing up elsewhere it is because the ID is mis-located. If you can provide me with them I can move them to the correct place.

Thank you for your reply.

It is my first time on the Forum and I have been using Netduma for a year. The problem that I have, that I do not know how to add to allow list without the circle pop up at Geo filter map. I usually add them by using the geofilter map. How do you fix the ID location? I have some friends that I play with using comcast that all shows up at Kansas and they are at westcoast area at geofilter map and I have not add them at my allow list yet.

Other question that maybe you can help me , How do you share your allowlist ? Can you share to your friend who has net duma ? I have some friends that has net duma that we would like to share our allowlist.

Thank you

Hey there, the only way currently to add someone is through the Geofilter; we recommend inviting them to a private lobby to do so. This sounds like a strange issue; make sure "Auto-cloud" and "Bleeding Edge" options are enabled in Settings > Misc so that you get the latest cloud update. You can find out their ID by clicking on them in the Geofilter; their ID should show beneath. If you send us those ID's here (Perfectly secure) we could change their locations.

Just to add to the above, do make sure to add your friends to your allow list.

Actually, I just mentioned this to Jack. You can share your allow list with profiles. Save a profile just with the allow list, export it, give it to your friend, they import it and will have the allow list you created!
