cant access control panel

Recommended Posts

hey guys i cant access the control panel for the duma. First, I put my LAN cable from my duma to my mac and typed in 192.168.88.1 and it didnt work. its weird because it worked all the time before this. so then, i connected to the duma wifi and tried that. that didnt work. then, on my mac i went into system preferences and looked at what the assigned ip was for the duma on wifi. it was 192.168.0.2. i typed that in, even that didnt work. i did the same when i connected into LAN. i even tried https://r1and that didnt work, and i tried factory reset. plz help

Turn everything off for 10 mins, then turn the devices on in stages, isp hub first give it long enough to boot up fully, then the Netduma, then your laptop.

Then try to set it up as per the wiki from scratch.

If you don't know what you changed that messed everything up you'll have to start from the beginning.

Take the nighthawk out of the loop until everything else is working.

Connect the Duma to the modem and follow the wiki setup.

Once the duma is set up you can connect the nighthawk and put it into AP mode

should i put my duma into factory reset before restarting it or should i just unplug it and the modem and the nighthawk for 10 mins?

Don't factory reset unless it's your last resort really (especially when considering the button on the back).

Just give it all a switch off and connect modem > duma > laptop. turn them on one at a time (in that order) with a 5 minute gap and then hopefully you'll be able to get into the Duma interface. Once we get there then it should be easy to get the Nighthawk back in the loop.
