ChickenJoe
Check out my Ookla Speedtest result. What's your speed? http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/2008488084 so this is the kind of speeds ive been getting from several speedtests... i dont know howto identify the issue but i have a few ideas.... 1) my R1 is on an,older version (cant eait for the upgrade) 2)my R1 is plugged into a Netgear range extender my ISP gave me when he installed our new At&t modem. He said he did this bc the ISP Modem is on the other side of the house where it seemed to be an old office of some kind, but my dad did not want anymore drilling into the house nor did he want AT&t to string up the wire through the middle of our yard, which where i live theyre notorious for being lazy bastards and put lines up like that. I believe they just recently started burying the line. 3)i dont think that At&t has repaired or replaced the wires in my neighborhood for awhile now so im sure im not getting the Internet we are actually paying for. 4) i do not think i have my R1 settings optimized... watched a few tutorial vids and it helped for awhile but im always haveing rubberbanding issues in multiplayer with constant weak 3bar or worse. Also constantly being disconnected from BO3 servers... 5)Could i have pissed off the wrong person in multiplayer and hence theyre DDoS me forthe fun of it? 6)Also while watching Youtube on my XboxOne, in the middle of Videos i will somehow be signed out of youtube and brought to the Youtube's App Main screen... no idea why this is happening... I have turned VPN off, turned Cloud settings on, Geofilter is disabled for all devices and every time i play i change the sliders for the bandwidth to be fair to everyone includeing myself. But yet i have bot had an enjoyabke multiplayer gaming experience on BO3 in weeks now... PLEASE HELP, i dont mean to blow up the forums Moderators and owners of Netduma, i am simply looking for community advice. Its helped me out on here before and i hope to meet another friendly individual(s) soon!!!

Zennon
Have you tested from your ISP router to see if you get disconnections without the duma inline? WiFi range extenders should be after the duma not before.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 19, 2016 Administrators Share Posted June 19, 2016 Have you now done modem > duma > extender as I said in another post?
ChickenJoe
Yes, i did change the order around. I now have it set with NVG589, R1, range extender. As you instructed so far in another post. Still haveing disconnection issues with the netduma, and no i have not yet tried wiring my xboxone to my At&t router hence its on the other side of the house... i am not very tech savy, but i have an idea it might just be idk what settings should or should not be ticked on the R1 Control Panel... ever since the update im lost and dumbfounded on howto set it up... please post any forum links or tutorials and i will research anything i can to figure this out and/or be able to better explain whats going on... thank you for your patience!!! Im so thankful and very appreciative... first off, would it be preffered to just have my ISP worker come out to my house and rewire the router into the living room so that i can cancel out the range extender and just have the NVG589 and the R1 setup together, bc i have a big feeling its the Netgear range extender, which i have all devices in my house connected to including my xboxone, which is wired to the range extender. Just having my xbox one on the black ops 3 options page i will disconnect from black ops 3 servers...
ChickenJoe
Im learning, slowly but surely... a big issue with testing the speeds and doing several other speedtests is there is always more than one person on some device in the house... its hard to get everyone to cooperate at one time
ChickenJoe
Another issue i might be haveing is now the range extender shows up on the device list thats connected to the R1. Should i give all the bandwidth to the extender or does the prioritization still need to be set to the individual devices? Also... i dont know why this is occuring but on my laptop i have Internet Explorer and when i sccess the control panel it tells me it does not support Internet Explorer, but when i look up the Google Chrome or even Mozilla Firefox browser's my Web page will not dirext me to, or allow me to visit the page to download, or even check the links my Yahoo browser gives me when i search them... i have no idea why this could be happening but all it tells me is to refresh the page in a few minuetes or it could be a connection problem and the browser gives me a troubleshooting button. I thought this would be the place to ask for some I.T. Information
