EA Problems...It's Me Again

Recommended Posts

Make sure ping assist is set to 50ms. Disable the GeoFilter. Reboot the router (from Settings >> Miscellaneous). Load the game. Just before searching re-enable the GeoFilter.

Are you getting anything come up as blocked at all when it's enabled?

Sorry for taking long guys but I did that and no luck, Crossy.

And Fraser yeah I do get some blocked outside of the geofilter when it's enabled.

Right okay, so sounds like the Geo-filter is working (in that it's blocking far away players & not the servers that are needed) so it will expand search times, especially with FIFA. How many times have you kept searching in a row, it may take quite a few. I know FIFA has been having issues as of late, could it be perhaps a population issue/server issue? Do you get games that aren't really far away at all with the Geo disabled?

I have had the exact same problem for months, eventually getting a response from EA Support...

'Clear your alternate mac address from the advance settings network menu and then load the game'.

After doing this I instantly connected to my peers getting games repeatedly. Apparently its a system cache issue and that just helps clear it out.

I get NO games at all no matter what I do. Geo-Filter on/off etc... I haven't played a game of Madden, FIFA, or UFC besides the time when I disconnected the router for a long time and it worked for one sitting, only to go back to not connecting to games the next day. The problem can't be with EA, I've been playing EA sports games online at this house for 9 years almost daily with the same ISP(comcast/xfinity) with no issues, to this nature at least. I even just hooked up my friends xbox to see if maybe my xbox was the problem and I still can't connect. Can I return this router for a refund? It's been a good run with no hard feelings but I want to buy a new router and play all my games.

Can you try the above suggestion to see if that works please?

Otherwise please post in the 1 on 1 section and I can take a look :)

I tried it and it didn't help but I'll post in the 1 on 1 section on my next free day. Thanks
