PingPlotter results help

Right click on the graph and set the graph time to 6 hours, the information on that one is nowhere near long enough to tell if there is anything wrong,

Or three hours at least :)

I'm inclined to agree with Bags, that is a good looking graph for about 5+ hours of testing.  Are you having specific issues?  Or just curious?

Just curious my gamings fine I'm pretty high level and win a lot of money from tournies I'm just a perfectionist if something can be done better I'd like to know how, I had a feeling my connection would be pretty okay though. Just wondering if there's anything extra to do.

You may want to run a couple of those tests, just to verify there aren't intermittent anomalies in the neighborhood (unless you are FTTH - Fiber to the Home) but there isn't anything there I would be overly concerned with and most would be jealous of by comparison...LOL

Ask Colonic Boom to post one of his nightmare shots for you, that will put shit quickly in perspective.

If you were looking to spend money just for the sake of perfection, sure I can give you a few ideas though.  LOL

Yeah I earn quite a bit from gaming so it all goes back into gaming so anything you can suggest I'll give a look into better wiring etc. Plus whatever else you can suggest I am getting FTTP very soon though, probably next month my exchange is around 10 metres away so it's pretty cheap to install.

Here you go people, look at my line and feel better about your connection...

(Virgin Media Vivid 150/10)

I have a second line now though (FTTC) so I don't need your pity anymore ;)

And yes, that test was wireless hence the first hop max. And it's blacked out (or redded out) because back then I wasn't sure if that information was ok to post.

Ever get around to those ideas? haha

Ha ha - I was more kidding than anything else as you seem pretty set.  99% of the folks here would kill to have what you have going brother. :)

For the sake of discussion:  They would start with re-wiring the entire house.  Dedicated line off the source (from the road) for the console and only the console. Make that as short as possible and use the best quality components from A to Z.  Nothing but a single feed for gaming and gaming only, no wifi, just console gaming. Then the feed from the road.  One feed for the house entertainment and one for gaming.  Shit like that, to minimize outside impacts.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect you could build the perfect host if you were so inclined.  That would probably run right up to the grey area of what is acceptable to talk about in the open forums, so I will just leave that as is.   <_<

Can somebody tell me if these results are fine and what I can do to further optimise my connection if anything. Thanks.

Change your ISP DNS on your modem and on to your R1. Run DNS Benchmark

Thats your problem.
