skylyace Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Hi! I was just curious... So I have a netduma router and currently live in Portland Oregon. As you know for black ops 3 there is no dedicated servers for cod in Oregon. So I'm usually connecting to the California or Seattle servers with a 20-40ms ping. Soon I am moving to Tacoma Washington to continue college So I was wondering if that is going to reduce my ping drastically? Would you think it would be a 10 ping or below? I believe Tacoma is 33-40 miles away from the city of Seattle which is like a 30-40 minute drive. I'm not really an internet genius so i was wondering. Thank you
Zennon Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 It all depends on the routing of the ISP and if the just use WiFi that might increase the base ping. You could ask someone the is based there to do a ping test for you.
