Codester Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 I'm trying new VPN services and Astrill had a free trial and have a 30/30 fiber connection right now. I put the Chicago server (closest) info into the VPN tab and it connected fine. But it was limited to around 10 Mbps. If you use their software on a PC, it would only be a few Mbps drop to around 21 Mbps. Not sure why it drops almost 20 Mbps when going through the router. Anybody else have an issue with this?
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted May 20, 2016 Netduma Staff Posted May 20, 2016 I think that's the max you'll be able to get on the Duma. The Netduma doesn't have enough processing power to use the VPN at faster speeds.

Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted May 23, 2016 Netduma Staff Posted May 23, 2016 I manage to get about the same as you through the VPN using the Netduma. I guess if you really need the high bandwidth you'll have to run the software on your PC although I understand that might not be ideal.
Codester Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 yea I guess it will just have to do. Trying to use the VPN to watch shows in other countries and mod my location but it doesn't allow enough bandwidth for the full bitrate. It's cool.. haha
