Titanium3113
Hey dudes, what is the top WIFI speed capability on this router with the 2.4 GHZ ? After almost 5 1/2 months of tinkering with it, and following all directions multiple times to reach the upmost speed limits, I can only reach about 76-85 Mbps down and 12 Mbps up. I know these speeds are not slow, but I reach my full speeds of 180/15 with my TP Link Archer C9 without hesitation. Is this just the limiting factor of the 2.4 GHZ antenna and something I will have to deal with when I use this as my main router? Any plans of making a new upgraded version of the NetDuma with the 5 GHZ antenna and offering some form of trade in/ credit towards an upgraded model program? I would definitely bite on that. Just stinks that I have to use 2 routers if I want to reach the speeds that I pay for.

That's what I do and it works great since it's 5ghz AC wifi it can go to about 1300 Mbps

I had it set up this way ^^ in the past, but doesn't this neglect the feature of congestion control if my wife is streaming Netflix or Youtube on the WIFI (Archer C9) and I'm trying to game? I even had each set up with their own separate WIFI passwords on different Channels as well in the past, but this neglects the point of congestion control as well. Hmmm......anyways, thanks. No it doesn't... If you set it up as an access point it will work perfectly fine. No need for different wifi passwords or anything like that. Change your settings like this: You might have to do 192.168.88.200 for the IP address above. Turn off DHCP Save, reboot... Plug the ethernet from the duma into the LAN port on the C9... Not the WAN or internet port. Enjoy

Didn't know this. I would, this way the duma handles all DHCP requests
