At what time were these taken?

It is showing that a few routers are being a bit flaky keep and eye over the next few nights.

from 4am (Google) and 4:30am (BBC) both lasted 20mins also when you mean by flaky how would i fix that zennon thanks again for helping.

It's showing packet loss but we can not be sure if it is impacting as your pings are constant.

You need to test between 8 - 10pm

Zennon have you noticed that me and Bagsta has the same packet loss to that ip is it a routing issue or something if you look at Bagsta's one then look at mine looks identical as we both have the same isp.

It may be an issue or that a router using a different CPU path for TTL=0 packets than it does for routing data through.

That's why I say keep an eye on it it might be nothing but bagsta has a real issue around 9 to 10 pm that's why you need to do a long plot during them times.

As many BT users are seeing this on hop 4 (a BT router) it may well be a router using a different CPU path for TTL=0 packets than it does for routing data through.

I would only worry if it was then affecting the hops after it as there is no jitter (apart from what looks like you using the internet at around 10pm) then the worry is over.

So using a different router opposed to the HH5 in modem mode would be better to change it?

You have misunderstood, the router at hop 4 is owned by BT and is used in the routing out to the internet and back.

Thanks for clearing that up Zennon im not a network wizard so don't have a clue bout networking
