ChickenMasterJr Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Hi guys well I just got my router maybe a week ago and I'm on the current update. I want to try the Cod Ultimate profile but every time I select it and load it doesn't stay on that profile. If I reload the page it says general settings again. I need some help please thanks!

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 19, 2016 Administrators Posted April 19, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum. Once reloading that page it will just show the profile at the top of the list. The profile you loaded will actually have loaded settings correctly. Check the Geo-filter, your location will be in the ocean.

Why is the location putting me in the ocean? Is that Optimal for my Us connection? Do I Hit the button two times to get optimal servers? Not sure what I'm supposed to to do with my location being so far from my actual location. I hope you guys understand my questions. Thanks!

Your Geo Filter home is in the ocean because you are taking advantage of one of the features of the router called Ping Assist. You are effectively telling the Cod matchmaking that you are okay connecting to ANY SERVER OR HOST that is rated equal to or less than the number on the Ping Assist bar. With CoD Ultimate, I don't remember exactly, but I believe that number is 35 or 40ms somewhere in that region. So this will force the host to be LESS THAN the highest number - this insures you always connect to hosts under that ping number, so you are MORE likely to get better games.

Is is alright that the Filter By Distance is at the lowest percent? Also the base ping for the profile is 50ms
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 20, 2016 Administrators Posted April 20, 2016 Absolutely, considering it's placed in the ocean you won't get a host within your radius and leave it up to ping assist exclusively.
