Then you can use it with the advanced section of the feature once you obtain the config files from the VPN provider. Most people will not require a VPN and wouldn't recommend gaming through one. John Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 VPN is Virtual Private network.. What sort of ping do you get without a VPN? Because no matter what, you won't get any lower than what you're getting now.? I'm not sure there is a good VPN for gaming. I've tried running through my VPNs variety of servers geographically near and far, and as a player of FPS, it's very noticeable and it's no way to win. Just built a new gaming rig, got the dual graphics cards, ASUS 144Hz gaming monitor with minimal input lag and response time. Why would I want to slow it down by using a VPN?
