PharmDawgg Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Is there anyway to change the DNS settings on the R1? Current setup Modem>R1>Asus(access point). I was wanting to use Google's DNS.

Zennon Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 You will see DNS settings in the up coming firmware release.
BL4CK OPS V3TRN Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 In my XB1 I have a strange looking DNS combination of numbers and letters which I can't change . Does anybody else have the same

PharmDawgg Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 Sounds like an IPv6 DNS to me (i.e. 2001:db8::ff00:42:8329). Is IPv6 selected in the router under Settings>WAN and Settings>LAN?
BL4CK OPS V3TRN Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Cheers Buck I will have a dabble tonight . I don't need Ip6 right ?
PharmDawgg Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 I would unselect it in WAN and LAN. Also go to Settings>Miscellaneous and unselect Link-local IPv6 as well. I hope this helps.
