General which is best setup question....

So I am moving into my new apartment and will be having a gaming room. Question is, would it be better to go from Cable Modem --> NetDuma --> Powerline Adapter --> Switch setup in game room, OR would it be better to go Cable Modem --> Switch --> Powerline Adapter --> Netduma in game room?

From what a lot of people have said on here it's normally best to always go Cable modem to NetDuma then everything connected to the Duma. I set it up a different way at first then went ISP modem in modem mode to NetDuma and it worked perfectly

I'm partial to your first setup.  That way the R1 will be able to handle all or any congestion on your network side of things. I take it there is no way to have the modem and router in the game room itself correct?

This is correct, although congestion shouldnt be a problem, I will be running at 1GB download speeds.

If that is the case either way should work fine. I would try both and see which one works best for you real world.

I would also go with your first set up but with those speeds it really won't matter a whole lot
