WiFi problem

I have had wifi disabled on my duma but wish to enable it....but keeps coming up incorrect channel value..what am i doing wrong

Channel 14 is unavailable in the UK and only up to channel 11 in the US.

 

I am not sure if this is your issue?

when i go to select a channel...7 say  i click on it but it doesnt appear in the box

Try a reboot from misc settings.

 

If that does not work do a hard boot , turn off for 5 min's then reboot the duma.

Change the security to WPA2-PSK and try again.

thats what i use..already tried all  3 variations...when i select the channel number..any..the channel number box does not show the number

Is the WiFi broadcasting even though it does not display a number?

no wifi network being broadcast because it wont enable..just keeps coming up with incorrect channel value

Have you tried turning the WiFi off and back on again?

 

Ok after everything I have suggested and that has not worked I think Fraser needs to take a look at this.

think i will try a factory reset...will it harm the router..and will i have to download the latest firmware again

Do it from the misc settings page, you will lose all your settings though.

 

You could save a profile.

You'll lose settings. Won't harm the router and you won't need to download latest firmware.

 

If this doesn't work try selecting a channel using the keyboard (Up + down and enter to select) see if that works
