scooby
Hi guys So ive been having a drop on download speed recently ..and decided today to try a sort it.Turned out it was a bad connector on the ethernet cable..but while i had my laptop directly plugged into the duma my connection was saying I was connected to my Asus router which is upstairs in AP mode.. Any ideas on why ?

Yam Yam
Hi guys So ive been having a drop on download speed recently ..and decided today to try a sort it.Turned out it was a bad connector on the ethernet cable..but while i had my laptop directly plugged into the duma my connection was saying I was connected to my Asus router which is upstairs in AP mode.. Any ideas on why ? If its like my laptop, the Mrs uses it on Wifi... I use it later and plug in the ethernet but the network never changes until I disable the wifi on the laptop, then the ethernet (lan) side takes over and its sorted. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 12, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 12, 2016 Turn the wifi off on your PC. Are you then definitely connected to duma? If you are then it was connecting via wifi over ethernet for some reason.
