Idiot On Tour
Basically, I am currently living in a very old house and the only place I can situate my router and modem is downstairs in the kitchen due to the lack of ports elsewhere. This means that up until now I have been using the mains network as my source of wired connection (I connect one ethernet cable into the router and mains and then I connect another up stairs where my xbox one is into the mains and of course.. into the back of my xbox. So what I'm wondering, if I were to buy a Netduma, would it still be able to work to 100% efficiency or does my xbox have to be directly connected to it via a wire? Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted January 5, 2016 Netduma Staff Share Posted January 5, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum This would still work. If it is powerline adapters that you are using then lots of people use them and find that they work very well.

There's a drop in speed testing but I just care about the gaming pings =)
