I'm very tempted to buy a Netduma Router but am currently unsure if my house would support it

Basically, I am currently living in a very old house and the only place I can situate my router and modem is downstairs in the kitchen due to the lack of ports elsewhere. This means that up until now I have been using the mains network as my source of wired connection (I connect one ethernet cable into the router and mains and then I connect another up stairs where my xbox one is into the mains and of course.. into the back of my xbox.

So what I'm wondering, if I were to buy a Netduma, would it still be able to work to 100% efficiency or does my xbox have to be directly connected to it via a wire?

Hey, welcome to the forum :)

This would still work. If it is powerline adapters that you are using then lots of people use them and find that they work very well.

I use the power line adaptors and it works well with the Duma for gaming.  There's a drop in speed testing but I just care about the gaming pings =)
