play with the geo filter, when ever i want bot lobbies i set my home pin to the Washington server and i set my radius to 69 miles where my home pin should be by my zip code, if you dont live that close to a server then open up the radius circle to the closest one to you

i hear you, but could care less about any of those features none of them are going to improve quality of gaming.

I see people posting $40 dollar routers are better, Asus is better, and blah blah blah is better but just cause those routers measure internet speeds closer to what you are paying for does not make them better. I cannot speak for other games or quality of internet because my frontier FiOS internet is only used for call of duty and streaming. Only devices connected to my duma r3 is my Xbox and my pc nothing else. I have a completely different internet connection for the rest of my house and family (Spectrum - which i hate. HORRIBABLE company but that's a completely different topic) When it comes to the new R3. There's nothing better for the price. If you take the time to dial it in, it works. If you want the best possible connection to the closer server, you can achieve that. If you want to use VPN and you have a xbox or ps5 you can achieve that. If you want your bot lobbies you can achieve that. If you have very slow internet and you want to make one thing over another a priority you can achieve that. I believe the DUMA team needs to put a disclaimer somewhere on the opening webpage that they are an innovative company and will always be under development. Just my 2cents...

Speed test for multiplayer set to 30mb down 10mb up, Warzone sliders are set to 1000mb / 1000mb ( i have a 2g fios connection and the r3 only supports up to a gige so its basically putting the sliders at 50%) Ping optimizer - run full test off, simple mode, download at 56 upload at 65 (im pretty sure this has a lot to do with the cpu only being 1.5GHz and the ethernet only support up to a Gigabit. The least inexpensive router that i can find that is actually better then the r3 is the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 which is $500 usd) I have all wifi disabled (have no need for wifi) UPNP disabled!!! Port forward - I have all correct ports for xbox series x Trouble shooting - everything disabled!!!

Are you not readying what im typing? im not disagreeing with you im just saying you can use the geo filter as a work around to the the vpn gets enabled on the next update. And again i have threads and videos showing me in Cali connecting to Brazil, Australia, and a bunch of other places and forcing the connection the direction i want it to go and also manipulating sbmm and eomm and acting like im in those countries but connecting to a server in my back yard.

google is your friend https://support.activision.com/articles/clearing-cache-deleting-files its not and you can search videos and threads i have posted about this but as i mentioned vpn will help you connect faster but its not needed if geo filter is set up correctly

you dont need vpn to do that you can use geo filter. Set home pin to where ever you want use geo fence to select the servers you want, Clear saved game data and profile for COD and restart the game. go to settings / account & network / network info - and it will show you in the US and by pass all the west coast none sense, its not as fast as finding a game like a vpn is but it works to vpn is enabled

the info was there i checked before i pre ordered it also in 2023 i also did more due diligence and came to the forum and asked if the router supported my network speeds before placing my order.

We all know this and i totally agree. But from the game, to game audio, to the router nothing cool is easy.

heres the fix for the potato audio but its not plug and play so have fun...I have astro a40 tr with mix amp for my xbox, DUNU Titan S IEM's for my Streaming PC when i play on that, and for the gaming rig im building i got SteelSeries - Arctis Nova Pro Wired i followed the videos instructions step by step and night and day difference!

Not really a subject for this thread but EOMM and SBMM was created cause a weaker society decided little Timmy and Billy deserved a trophy for just showing up. The whole losing your gun fight because of connection or blaming your router not working properly and not cause your just bad at the game... well If your router is set up correctly the only time your gaming experience will change is cause of the tick rate of the cod servers being so low and the server your on is over saturated (COD is only at 20 when every other online game is 30 to 128). If you lock your geo filter down to specific servers only you can avoid a ton of those bad gun fights. People complained about this in older cods that used P2P for MP and now you revenge spawn in MP, proxy mines and motor strikes stronger for bum players in WZ when it takes 2 proxy mines to down someone or your motor strike does nothing at all. Also there's ways around eomm / sbmm with the geo filter. Activision has been recording every single online game since black ops II and maybe even before that but they let you know they did when they put theater mode in the game and no one said anything about it. For the digital finger print so AI can actually ban you and it does not matter how many new accounts you make. Some cheat providers have already implied a offset scale and there will never ever be two of the same movements. Unfortunately this is the world we live in and its easier for most humans to be negative instead of positive. This forum and especially this thread is 100% prof of that. Just my 2cents.

security is not even a issue, i do not even have windows defender installed on my pc i have a custom version of windows 10 with no bloatware and on my fiber internet connection it goes from the ONT straight to the duma nothing in-between and the reason you do not want to use dmz is cause there is nothing to prioritize the ports. at that point which can cause all kinds of different issues. if the wrong port is being used cause there is no instructions for the correct port to be used

the only way i can do it anymore RIGHTER is to get a router that supports my internet connection. i have a spectrum 1gige connection for the whole house, i have fios 2gige just for my gaming, You never want to put anything in DMZ if you do not have to, Portforward should always be first choice, upnp if you cant figure it out on your own, DMZ if you dont want to FAFO
