Correct, you wouldn't be able to solve that. Generally in the case of ISP congestion there isn't much you can do except perhaps switch to a provider that isn't as subscribed to in your area.

    Salut !

    @De4d SaVi0rSalut ✌️comment ça va ?

steady ping is working your games are just getting worse because your connection to the server got better
depending on what your network tree looks like bandwidth reserve can help out a lot especially if your streaming and playing and got family using the internet all at the same time

@satinghostrider If you have disabled QOS correctly that should also be disabled as it disables all the priority feature if you select on smart boost it will state it same as ping optimize .. Make sure you are connection to close servers to you not servers far away .. Cod made chnages in recent anti cheat update to combat vpns & geo ect so they are adding on ping thrusholds to people using geo & vpns your ping is getting ping added on other words hense its best to stay close to you

Yes like i have said since 2015 the better your internet connection to the game the more the game handicaps you.
With SBMM being parried with EOMM now its god awful in BO6. In in multiplayer MW3 2023 EOMM would just spawn a bad player behind you giving them the chance to kill you with out you knowing they are behind you. In warzone they will give the less experience or bad player in the engagement a advantage from a little quicker ttk or even a 1 hit melee with a longer lunge. You ever notice a score streak like the mortar strike will following you in warzone LOL and when you do die to it and you spectate the person that uses it they are extremely horrible at the game but yet you wont get a hit marker with yours and you dropped it on a full team of 4.
Now in BO6 2024 EOMM is turned up so high if you have a extremely good connection to where you are getting a ping under 30ms the lobbies are just sweaty right, But if you really pay attention the lobbies are not sweatier, your just dying to more RNG! This is why you see videos and people saying around 60ping is the sweet spot. The average player that is not competitive at all will not notice a difference in latency between a 10 ping to a 60 ping lobby (Clueless) but the guy that plays every day will defiantly feel the difference but if your just getting wrecked cause of the condition of the game and not the actual skill base of the enemy then the smart side of your brain says lets play smarter and not harder and lets go back to that 60ms ping server (which causes players to try manipulate and look alternative ways to help get easier lobbies)
Also what i have noticed with activision putting up 2nd name server to detect VPN usage. PC players will now get shadowed banned if the 2nd name server can not complete the handshake cause your ID is not matching your last known IP and the IP keeps changing frequently for that same ID. And if you are on console since shadow banned and perm bands are not written into the code they will put console vpn users into crazy hacker lobbies.
This guy F@cked around and found out even admits towards then end of the video he got shadow banned

Also if someone is up to no good from using a cronus, titin, REWASD (which now just crashes your game) or any input device that helps give you any kind of advantage, from ESP and or AIMBOT, VPN and so on... (Basically any thing that did not come out of the box with the game that will give you a advantage) The game will allow a enemy to 1 tap you in core with any gun. I tested a VPN for a coder 2 weeks ago and i got the bottiest lobbies of all time but EOMM cranked up so high i got 1 tapped by enemies not even shooting in my direction and was not even worth playing with the vpn enabled.
With the 2nd name server up and all this AI stuff the game knows your up to something but they can not shadow or perm ban you on console and they will not perm ban you on pc to they detect a illegal tool being used cause they technically need prof you are breaking TOS. A member in my discord has been using a cronus since call of duty ghost 2012 with a PlayStation and every year he upgrades to the new version of cod he went from the ps3 to the 4 and now is on the 5 and he reached out to me cause he said BO6 was not giving him no love and he was just getting $hitted on right and left. He said he got so frustrated and unplugged the cronus and the next game he played was night and day different.
This is just my 2cents but they do not want you to get better at the game! They want to keep you in this gray area. If you have a good game the next game punishes you lol. If you just keep getting really good at the game then the less experience players is not going to want to play cause they keep getting $hitted on. So they think if they handicap you enough the competitiveness side of you will keep you playing and well little Billy and Timmy get a dopamine spike every time they get a kill they do not even care or know what KD is. Also do not know if you noticed but there is no more KD again Treyarch went back to EDR which you get a kill point even if you only get a assist (Basically Activsion, Treyarch and Raven Softwares way for giving out patriation trophies)

    Yo @Tony,

yes certainly try steady  ping in expert mode ,  start at at the lowest level and see how you go . I kept adjusting upwards until I reached  what I consider my sweet spot .  Keep an eye on your ping in game I have it set to display top left of the screen ,  that's the one to follow as you adjust you can actually see it changing in game  live as you adjust  .

Qos  is really only good if your internet suffers from bad traffic example if you have loads of other devices using the internet at the same time Enabling Qos actually makes games worse .. Its been proven this .. What your are doing using qos is limiting your speeds you actally get to lower speeds you want full speeds while gaming ... The thing to keep in mind is QOS is of very limited value when you only control one end. So you can prioritize packets going outbound, but only as far as the next hop (ISP). Inbound not much you can do. Prioritizing within your LAN is feasible but I don't believe Asus QOS does anything with that, you'd need a switch with QOS features.
QOS can do more harm than good too, all it is doing is putting pseudo limitations on the connection, making some devices think there is saturation and others think it is all good. This really only works for TCP traffic, UDP not so much.
The QOS process also adds a bit of latency to process the packets.
If the latency is beyond the router, QOS will do more harm than good (even if it isn't, that's usually the case, it is only needed if you are saturating the connection with other things, like running a large file upload while gaming. If the link is not saturated, QOS will only hurt, not help). It isn't like it is going to accelerate packets beyond the speed of light or anything.

I have QOS off, I did set up the ports for BO6 too, and have found today that I get a better game play when not filtering (I'm still testing not filtering). Haven't tried knocking QOS back on though, this could be purely coincidental.
Nj12; I am in the very fortunate position of having 2 independent ISP services in the house, and the only thing I run on one of them are my gaming systems, and there is only ever one in use at any one time. So congestion isn't an issue.

I have just found this post, late for me as usual, I knocked QOS (Smart Boost) off, and the difference to gameplay, is insane; I just Can't explain the difference. Its amazing, and more testing is required. I don't use Exitlag though, just knocked QOS off.

LLM does turn on your congestion control only when gaming. I've double checked. Still testing during my free time but I'm finding some interesting results. When I adjust my download congestion control games start to feel weird.
I know that games "Feeling" weird is subjective. However I'm very familiar with the games that I play. Been playing the Call of Duty franchise since WAW. Have owned every main line Netduma router since 2014.
I've been trying to figure out why some days feel great. While others don't. Normally adjusting congestion control seems to make things better. At least for a bit. This is something that I've seen over the years as a NetDuma YouTuber. It's definitely been mentioned here on the forums a number of times.
It would make sense that different days and times depending on your ISP load and your load in your household that you may need to adjust congestion control. So that's what I've always done and told others to do on my YouTube channel.
I won't bore you with every test I've done over the last year but let's say it's been a lot. Honestly a bit stressful as every time I feel like games are running good a little bit later they don't. There's still a bunch more tests to run but everything the last few days has pointed me toward adjusting download CC. Even though I have buffer bloat on my download side, games play better.
Adjusting upload seems to work as intended and doesn't affect gameplay negatively.
All said I have a bunch more testing I'd like to do. Is going to take time. However if there are others in the community that are struggling with games feeling weird including Call of Duty then try not adjusting your download congestion control and leave it at 100%. I'm currently still using llm. However I do plan to once again test Auto/Always.
Maybe it's just my connection doesn't like me adjusting download. However that does seem doubtful as others in the community have expressed games "Feeling" weird.
Thanks everybody for the input so far. If any of y'all want to try not adjusting download and seeing if games feel better & report back that would be great. If this is something that everybody can replicate then NetDuma knows it's something they should look into. If it's just me and a few others then at the very least I can report in an upcoming YouTube video that this may be something that some people should try.
Anywho that was a long post. It's early I need coffee.
    Thx
    Scott

Go to Ping Optimizer then set your congestion control to LLM ( low latency mode )
Since the release of Black Ops 6 I've been testing different congestion control settings. One match would feel okay. Bullets would register the way I'd expect. Then the very next it would all go to 💩
So I would go into testing different congestion control sliders settings. Even with buffer bloat at an a+ & Ping Potter showing a smooth graph the game would feel very inconsistent.
This was incredibly noticeable when trying to Sprint from a dead stop. Going into a private match and just trying to Sprint away felt like I was a millisecond or two behind my controller. For somebody who plays cod consistently this was really noticeable.
I'd even noticed this same thing happening in MW3 & could never figure out exactly why.
Up into this point I'd never actually tried using LLM within congestion control.
Since turn it on the other day all games feel significantly better. Blops 6 feels snappy and responsive. Going into a private match and trying to Sprint away no longer feels sluggish.
I'd love to know if this works for others in the community. Sure the NetDuma team would as well.
    Thx
    Scott
