Don't you think Activision is manipulating all this? Like eomm skill base damage

The problem came back, like always. I’ve yet to find a consistent fix. Sometimes it works for a few days, sometimes a few hours. But the desync/extrapolation bullpoopy always comes back

I’m at my wits end with this fight. I’ve been dealing with this issue for years now (since BO4) and I’m tired of it, boss.
To sum it up, it seems as if I am constantly a 1/4 second behind everything that is going on. Bullets come flying at me out of thin air from enemies I can’t even see. Or if me and another enemy round the corner at the same time, they always see me first. I almost never get out of a 1v1 gunfight without taking damage, because on the enemies screen I just stood there for a second like a bot before shooting back.
On the flip side of that, If I am full sprinting anywhere around the map, the server side prediction extrapolates my character out ahead of me. Enemy players will see me come around a corner on THEIR screen before I’ve even come around the corner on MY screen. I’ve tested this thoroughly by sprinting towards corners and stopping 4-5 feet before, pausing (to give the server time to sync up to my actual position), and then running around the corner where I will then have a fighting chance at winning the gunfight. I bot-walk pretty much everywhere now because if I dont, I’m screwed.
Oddly enough, I don’t get any latency warnings, no one is packet bursting around the map, and my ping is very stable. The only quasi-workaround that I’ve found to this is using geo-filtering to camp the Florida and NY servers. With a 50-65ms ping, the game seems to run smoother. But ONLY if I play solo. The second I join up with teammates, it goes right back to feeling awful. I can also squeeze a few good games out before the poopy hits the fan again if I unplug and hard reset my router and get some fresh IP’s. This will usually net me 3-5 games where everything feels really smooth and crisp before beginning a rapid degradation in the quality of my connection.
This issue is present on both my PS5 and PC!
I’m using Quantum Fiber 1gig with a C5500XK ONT (bridge mode) —> XR1000. UPnP is on, NAT is Open, both systems are hard wired. On Speedtest.net I pull 940+/- a few up & down. I have all QoS completely disabled as the buffer bloating is abysmal with it on. I’ve adjusted those sliders every which way and it just feeds me awful results as opposed to running it wide open. 4ms ping, less than 10+ latency down/up with 0.5-1.5 jitter.
There has to be something I’m missing. My friends think I’m crazy, and I’m starting to believe it. BUT they’ve seen the proof! When I watch THEM stream, it’s like they’re playing a completely different game than me! Perfect hit detection, mostly in sync with the game, aim assist works like it’s supposed to etc etc

Please feel free to ask me anything and I will do my best to answer! Thanks for reading, and I really hope we can find a way to resolve this.

Hello guys, first time posting on here.
im having really bad issues on black ops 6, I’ve had it on all call of duty’s since 2019.
my game feels 0.5 seconds behind everyone else, im shooting cotton balls and dying in literally 2-3 bullets everytime. I play mostly ranked play so I’m not sure if sbmm or anything else is affecting it.

1 in every 20 or so matches I get really good hit reg, I come top of the lobby by a lot, then the rest of the time I’m struggling to not come bottom.

my internet is virgin media 1gb download 110 upload, its not full fibre because they run on old copper lines I think, bt open reach full fibre comes to my area in the next 12 months.

I have literally tried everything possible to fix it and nothing helps, I have tried every suggestion on my R3, nothing helps I don’t know what the issue is.

I did the server block through windows firewall and it helped with public matches slightly but still feel behind most of the time.

does anyone have any suggestions that I might not have tried, I’m losing all hope.

    thank you.

    @De4d SaVi0rSalut ✌️comment ça va ?

Yep connection's are one sided, coming from a career 3kd player every cod i don't even want to look at my kd in this. It's very rare i win a face to face gun fight with someone even though i shoot first. Huuuuge desync between what i see and the other player's experience, i don't know why i am always on the bad side year after year until half way through its lifecycle where i can salvage my kd when the connection finally improves 😄
I've tried a bunch of different routers, nothing helps. It's almost as if the experience is tied to my account

Let us know how you get on! Zli has it right, experimenting with settings is the best thing to do, we can tell you what we think but everyone has different setups/connections, what may work for the majority may not work for you and vice versa.

I'm also currently experimenting with the settings myself. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but the fact is that the hits are better in COD.
I changed the WAN MTU from ISP, I Have a Static IP, Bridge Mode,R3 is in DMZ mode of the ISP device.Difference is visible in the Game.
When I turn off Smartboost on the R3, I also lag less.(That needs to be checked, but sometimes I have the feeling that it is better and sometimes not).It seems to me that most of the time it is better when it is turned off.Strange. (Some still leave Smartboost on because of the Bufferbloat test A+ but do not add any priority to applications and devices.)Or just try adding devices but not apps. These are some things that you should see for yourself and feel what suits you. https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat
I have turned off Upnp and I haven't put my device in DMZ in R3. I did it manually and typed port 3074. One port is enough for open Nat.
Do a TEST to see if you have a stable ping from the ISP. A variation of 3,4ms is normal. https://www.pingplotter.com/fix-your-network/start-test/
Maybe you should check how your CPU is works.
Whatever you do, try to play like that for 2,3 hours. Don't expect much in 15 minutes.
R3 is a router with which you always need to tinker and experiment.
I don't know where you play from, but if your distances from the server are on average 900-1200 km. No one can help you. Most of them will be faster than you.
