7/10 - Overall That's higher than i would give most . Especially while you are correct, im just another frustrated customer with an opinion, not facts. That's where i was hoping to get some answers and finally understand something thats indeed very complex. But complexity of software thats been "done on duma's part" for some time now , Sure doesn't add up to NG having to babysit and finalize the final copy, I would think since you've basically stated Duma's at a halt as of this moment in time , you guys partially finalized quite some time ago. So what the hell, i got a solution, which ill exit with this. NG doesn't have to finalize a DumaOS 3.3.5 for the XR1000 and XR1000v customers. You know what i mean. You guys control your BETA FIRMWARE, as its CLOUD based , right? So what the hell man, push out a damn beta and call it "WE HEAR YOU CHAT!v3.4" as you may claim you guys are the most front facing , with the interacting with customers aspect, Just so you know , which you are already aware of this , Then STOP telling customers about a BETA for years then claim its ready just to be "under construction" for another 2 years with only a couple days to be tested as a beta! Someone over at DumaOS has the answer , to the mysterious reasons yall can't give us a straight answer. Maybe we deserve REAL answers from the most "front facing , directly interacting with customers" self made title you gave yourself. Because 1st response at 2 paragraphs and we still havnt gotten anywhere , besides who can point the finger and "kill em with kindness as a keyboard sympathy warrior" first.! Of Course as you know me by now, its a public form , dont take it personaly , just wanting it to "hit home" , So for once the other side can feel our frustration. But you say you are for us and try and help as much as possible .YOU DO. Honestly , you are very helpful to alot of customers or members that need some issues or questions answered . Now what about the rest of us , that wanna know what the actual "_____________________" is slowing us down here . You want to change the way this forum, specifically the XR users % rate of suggesting this router to a friend , or overall happiness with the software with DumaOS, Don't Bu LL sh T (a) Bu LL sh ttter. Have a good weekend , ill be look forward to this one. -

Basically what your trying to say is ... All of the ideas of the one and only liam are brought to life by his minions and worked to the extent of perfect.. no.. just .. shy of perfect (gotta leave room for the hopes and dreams of the XR customers.) You know like, release a beta after sending it off to NETGEAR for daddy's approval. From my understanding This DumaOS 3.3 HAS ALREADY BEEN APPROVED by NETGEAR at least 1 TIME! aka the XR500 is PROOF NETGEAR had no issues with the DumaOS's (half) of the software, given you make it sound like its an even split , kinda like 50/50. I call BS. I understand this has nothing to do with you in regards of the "actual software being available to us (customers),. But Fraser, come on. Take a step back and see it from a different perspective , seriously you can talk the talk , ill give it to you. A Professional Staller as how many years youve dealt with countless "people" , i should say i dont know how you sleep as active as you are. I mean this "thread" is quite a bit sometimes. But you are also on quite a few others as well always eager to answer all questions regarding anything DumaOS related. Point is , you've been around the block a few times over. You know dam well NETGEAR's already passed on the software attempt #1 from you guys . Cause im not buying it takes a company like NETGEAR since ... DECEMBER 20th, 2024 - till NOW/ONGOING to tell you guys and i quote "not a damn thing" as you and employees from DumaOS always say "Waiting on NETGEAR / it's not fully our software" . Heres a better alternative, just tell us the truth, NETGEAR said go back to the drawing board and try again. Cause like you said in your response. "Software parnter" , You spelled that correctly, but im noticing now you mispeelled "we don't get total control/the final say on matters" , should have replaced that with Daddy said not tonight, maybe next weekend" , cause i dont believe for a second a MULTI BILLIION dollar company , or better yet .. THE WORLDS LARGEST ROUTER VENDOR! takes this long to "test" a single units software.. NETGEAR is releasing routers left and right and "approving/denying" on a daily basis. So i believe you guys have received your answer and are trying to not admit someone ducked up and go with the generic "an issue with the beta , so we pulled it ." -
Hey @Ritchie1909, That's amazing , im glad to hear that . May i ask what vpn provider you are using ? I also may want to try this lol. But Mainly my concern is your not getting the full use of the features and primarily , well 3074 is for xbox and PS5 doesnt use that port... Just wanted to help, but in my honest opinion, if it works , then it works lol. I most likely wouldn't change a thing if it works. But ill give you a more detailed explanatnion (boring mumbo-jumbo (lecture style lol) I did list the ports i would use but, again up to you and your's seems to be doing just fine, id leave it lol. Take care man. XBOX Port 3074 (TCP/UDP) is primarily used for online gaming and NAT traversal, particularly for Xbox Live and some PC games. 1. Xbox Live Gaming (Main Usage) - Xbox consoles (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S) use UDP 3074 as the primary port for connecting to Xbox Live. This port is required for multiplayer gaming, voice chat, matchmaking, and NAT Type Open status. 2. Call of Duty & Other Online Games - Many Call of Duty games (on PC and consoles) use UDP 3074 for matchmaking and peer-to-peer (P2P) connections. Some older PlayStation games also used this port, but it is not a primary PlayStation Network (PSN) port. 3. NAT Traversal & Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Networking - 3074 (UDP/TCP) helps manage NAT traversal, allowing game clients to communicate across different network types. If 3074 is blocked, players might experience strict or moderate NAT, causing connectivity issues. 4. Windows PC Gaming & Game Services - Some PC games (e.g., Call of Duty, Destiny 2) also use port 3074 for online multiplayer functionality. Port Protocol Purpose 3074 UDP Primary gaming traffic (Xbox Live, Call of Duty, P2P matchmaking) 3074 TCP Xbox Live authentication, game server communication PS5 (Specifically referring all information below to the PlayStation 5) PS5 Does Not Use Port 3074 by Default Port 3074 is mainly used by Xbox and PC for Call of Duty and other P2P multiplayer games. PlayStation uses ports 3478-3480 for gaming and voice chat. Call of Duty on PS5 Uses Different Ports While some versions of Call of Duty (on PS4 and PC) use port 3074, the PS5 version typically does not rely on it. Instead, Call of Duty on PS5 may use UDP 3076, UDP 3478-3479 Ports 3478-3480 (both TCP and UDP) are used by PlayStation Network (PSN) and PlayStation consoles (PS4/PS5) for: 1. PlayStation Network Communication (Sign-In, Multiplayer, Party Chat) - These ports handle PlayStation Network (PSN) login, matchmaking, and online gaming services. Without proper access to these ports, you may experience NAT issues, trouble connecting to lobbies, or problems with voice chat. 2. NAT Traversal & P2P Connectivity - These ports help with peer-to-peer (P2P) game connections when servers aren't directly handling game traffic. They assist in NAT traversal, meaning they help connect players across different NAT types. 3. PlayStation Party Chat & Voice Communication - PlayStation voice chat (Party Chat) relies heavily on ports 3478 and 3479 (UDP). If these ports are blocked, you might not hear others or they might not hear you. Breakdown by Port Type: Port Number Protocol Purpose 3478-3479 ------ UDP ---- Game traffic, matchmaking, voice chat 3480 --------------- TCP ---- PlayStation Network (PSN) authentication & communication 3076 --------------- UDP --- Call of Duty-specific port on PlayStation

HI @Ritchie1909 I just happened to NOTICE, you mention Configuring for Call Of Duty on your PS5? And then i also notice you are CONFIGURING your PS5 with the wrong ports , the screenshot below will only cause issues instead of solutions to your task you are trying to initiate and complete. Notice PORT 3074........... Well congratulations as you have setup your XBOX Live Services to run perfec............ wait a minute but your on PS5? .. Im not being a dingaling, Just wanted to try and click and clack with some humor is all. But seriously easy fix, prioritize ports 3478-3480 (UDP & TCP) instead of 3074. Hope you at least laughed , if not then i was never here and just fyi if your logs do detect port 3074 , then someone else in your household is playing either on an XBOX or a PC, because PS5 doesn't use Port 3074. If you got it to work , then i apologize , just one dude trying to help out the next dude. Take care hope this helped! , L2W!

@David J You are more than welcome. I look at this as a positive and informational moment. I do appreciate the kind words, and Im just happy 1 person gained knowledge from my efforts, never know the OP may benefit as well. If not , I tried. Never hurts to learn something new.

@David JThe Photo I provided is in fact part of the XR series . I understand and realize you are on the R3. I didn't think i would have to explain that part, my apologies for not using a screenshot of the R3's Settings. I guess i assumed it shouldn't matter given the fact i tried to make it as simple as possible when trying to explain port forwarding to someone and how to implement it on their end. Basically in a nut-shell , it's as simple as i could make it , well i can try this way. Hope this way is better for you. Let me know either way. I tried. FIRST - Here is the answer to your question , then below is a detailed way for you to accomplish and for you to apply port forwarding on your own ! Setting a static IP outside of the DHCP range for your Xbox or PS5 helps ensure that the console always has the same IP address, and it avoids potential conflicts with other devices on your network. Hereâs why it matters: Avoids IP Conflicts When a device connects to your network, the router assigns it an IP address from the DHCP range. If your consoleâs IP is within this range and the router later gives that same IP to another device, it can cause connection issues. Makes Port Forwarding Work Smoothly Port forwarding rules are tied to a specific IP address. If your consoleâs IP changes (as it would with DHCP), the forwarding rules break, and youâd have to set them up again. A static IP outside the DHCP range keeps this from happening. Keeps the Consoleâs Connection Reliable By setting the static IP outside of the range, the router will never try to assign that same IP to another device. This ensures your console always has a stable and consistent connection. In short, itâs about making your network smarter: your Xbox or PS5 gets a reliable, conflict-free IP, and you get peace of mind knowing your setup is rock solid! TRY THIS OPTION BEFORE IMPLEMENTING PORT FORWARDING ON YOUR OWN UPnP - (on) Port Forwarding - (off/dont-forward-any-ports) UPnP will open all the necessary ports automatically for you in most cases. IF you still need to SETUP port forwarding , well here you go, enjoy Steps to Set Up Port Forwarding Find Out Which Ports to Open Research online to find the required ports for your game or service. Look for specific information for your gaming console, app, or game. Gather Key Information Before starting, note down: The ports you need to open (e.g., 3074 or a range like 27000-27100). Whether the ports require TCP, UDP, or both. The IP address of the device you're setting up (e.g., your Xbox, PC, or PlayStation). You can find this in your deviceâs network settings. What Youâll Need to Enter Rule Name: Give the rule a clear name so you know what it's for later (e.g., "Xbox Gaming" or "Rocket League"). Start Port: If the ports are in a range (e.g., 27000-27100), enter the first number in this range here. If it's just one port, use that port number. End Port: For a range, enter the last number in the range here. For a single port, use the same number as the Start Port. Protocol: Choose TCP, UDP, or Both based on what the game or service requires. This is usually listed in the instructions or online. IP Address: Enter the local IP address of the device you are forwarding ports for. You can find this in the deviceâs settings under "Network" or "Wi-Fi Details." Save Your Changes: Donât forget to hit "Apply" or "Save" after entering the details. Test Your Setup: After saving, check if the game or service works as expected.

@David J Hey man , i was browsing by and noticed you are having a bit of a difficult time. Good news, rather in the range of pictures and step by step instructions and color coded as this helps me especially when were just typing back and forth. Some wording by other people and their choice of explanation can be some what cunfusing . WEll here you go. Quick instructions below. TIP - Before Starting this little guide i put together for you, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you got to the devices your want to RESERVE aka Static IP for and CONFIGURE on each device that you are wanted to RESERVE. Example - Smart TV - Setting - Network - Custom Enter IP - 192.168.1.200 255.255.255.0 prefix length (24) Router / IP - 192.168.1.1 DNS1 - 1.1.1.1 DNS2 - 1.0.0.1 APPLY/TEST Then immediately go to DUMA OS and follow these steps . Picture below for guide. , This is where the (Green and Blue ) come from : Hope this helps , as i can understand better if i can see or visualize what people are trying to say. Green Arrow : Starting IP Address : Set to - 2 ENding IP Address : Set to - 100 Apply Blue Arrow: Click ADD: Add your device (if not identified with name , find by the MAC number, if anything just go to device manager right quick and memorize the last to mix of numbers and letters in the last column and come back and do it again. This way when you select , you can identify your device and add it properly. WIll be PROMPT to give device name:

@Netduma Fraser I downgraded. successfully, may i ask what bug you are talking about? I am just reading that the "beta"'s firmware is removed temporarily, so should i hold off on trying to Upgrade back to the beta? That being said , can YOU please, tell them to find the "bug" or reason why ROCKET LEAGUE is no longer an option. (not 100%on-this) Why when ROCKET LEAGUE is/was selected as a game or when need to be prioritized that with-in doing so it would "trigger/activate" something else other than ROCKET LEAGUE. Most likely RL's security or way of keeping their servers hidden? And if im about to hear the generic Fraser answer. Thats fine i guess. But at least can you tell me if i should even expect to see RL added back .. i mean since its currently down , now would be a good time to add it . I just wish it was taken as seriously as a major game for NetDuma such as if this type of thing happened right now for CODBO6 , im almost positive, you guys would find a solution and i bet fast too. But im speculating and snow balling at this point . I just understand. bug please im concerned about going to back to the beta since i just "downgraded successfully" i would like to know the bug that's preventing users to downgrade... should i need to know something?

There Hi, @Netduma Jack B Thanks for the reply, though it left me feeling like you were aiming for sarcasm instead of solutionsâsomething I didnât quite expect from someone representing a company in a public forum. Letâs unpack a few things, shall we? Just To Make Things Clear Letâs practice some phonics together: Netgear: Thatâs âNet-Gear,â as in the hardware company. DumaOS: Thatâs âDew-Mah-OS,â as in your software. Now, do these sound like the same thing? No.I didn't think so either. If you think they do , just ask around and see what others say captain obvious. But hereâs the kicker: they are inextricably linked when it comes to the XR series, like peanut butter and jellyâexcept this sandwich has been sitting out for over a year. So, when you clarify, âWeâre not the same company as Netgear,â itâs a bit like David denying he knows Goliath after taking the slingshot to the head. Question 2: The Blame Game Your explanation boils down to: DumaOS: âWeâre ready to go, softwareâs done.â Netgear: âSorry, canât find our testing team to rubber-stamp your work.â I mean, really? Netgear, the worldâs largest router vendor, canât allocate resources for firmware testing? Sounds more like a power play than a resourcing issue. A year-long delay suggests something biggerâmaybe a lesson in âwhoâs the bossâ on the food chain? Iâd love to hear what actually happened in those âcollaborativeâ meetings. Maybe the sword-fighting contests ran long? Meanwhile, XR users are caught in the crossfire, left with incomplete updates and vague promises. If the goal was to inspire confidence in your partnership, this situation has been a masterclass in how not to. Question 3: The Abandonment Game You say: âWeâre not abandoning the XR series; it just wonât get DumaOS4.â Translation: âWeâll keep the lights on but donât expect renovations.â Thatâs reassuring. Will DumaOS5 be coming, or should we brace ourselves for another round of waiting games and finger-pointing? Final Thoughts Your opening response was, letâs say, cheeky. I appreciate a bit of wit, but it landed more like condescension. So, I figured Iâd return the favor. That said, if my tone ruffled any feathers, let me extend an olive branch. My frustration comes from a place of being a loyal customer who expected better from a product labeled as "cutting edge." Looking forward to your replyâpreferably one that matches the professionalism your customers deserve. What's really going on? Thanks for Reading, Hope were still friends L2W

NEWS ALERT! DumaOS 3.3 Available NOW! - What a joke! XR Family , as well as myself. WAKE UP! You guys are crying over spilled milk , Some new information i've received and now learning is..; So what! you guys want 3.3 so bad? DumaOS still using latex i see, might wanna grab another roll of toilet paper, someone's gonna be butt-hurt after this one? You all do realize that even if DumaOS 3.3 came out yesterday .... you all are still NOT up-2-date, you hear me , this 3.3 yall are crying about, you mean OLD FIRMWARE! , new to us but LAST YEARS NEWS to everyone else! Oh and spoiler alert for the sensitive ones - DUMAOS 4.0 WILL NEVER BE AVAILABLE FOR THE XR SERIES! , Put that in your pipe and smoke it , put that other stuff down. Get a dose or reality, I just cant believe yall are growing momentum for something that's still old, outdated , overplayed, WAKE UP and ill do you the favor, Ive Built it just for you , before you cry me a river, know i built this bridge just for you, now get up , and get over it . ill see you on the other side. Wanna FIGHT for something WORTH FIGHTING FOR! Ask yourself this, what was promised after we got 3.0? you know this answer.... right ....... 3.3! So if WE still have not received 3.3 and stuck on 3.0 and we (XR USERS) will NEVER have 4.0 ..............................ask yourself what's next if construction shut down long time ago! Oh they keep saying "waiting on netgear to respond" "Usually takes a whiile for a response from NETGEAR" or my favorite "We've sent it off to NETGEAR , awaiting approval" WAKE UP!!!! Half of if not 80% of XR500 users like i was as well are on the rc.14 beta version. Did NETGEAR approve that or did you guys have to wait on that? I bet DumaOS lifted a couple fingers and made it available. Didnt have to go through NO ONE for them to release it and made public! So you mean to tell me they can push out a beta anytime? Why not for us XR1000 users, call it beta 3.9 : copy/paste 4.0 : rename it - BETA 3.9 : make it public! No need to wait on approval from daddy (NETGEAR) WAKE UP!!!!!!

The đ in the room - by L2W Dear Fraser, since you do not want to respond/answer, i think some else could from the Netduma Team could shed some light on this? I hope this message finds you well. Iâd like to express my frustration with the situation surrounding the XR series routers (Specifically the XR500 and XR1000), as it feels like we, as customers, have been left behind while new products and updates are being prioritized for the R-series. When I purchased the XR500 and XR1000, I did so believing the promise of a cutting-edge, future-proof gaming experience powered by DumaOS. At the time, I invested nearly $500 into the two routers, fully expecting that the firmware updates would continue to enhance their functionality and gaming features. However, the reality has been far from that expectation. Despite being marketed as premium gaming routers, the updates have been inconsistent, delayed, and in some cases, non-existent. Now, with the introduction of the R3, it feels as though customers like myself who purchased the XR series are being left behind. I understand the need for new products, but I cannot help but feel that the focus on the R3 has effectively sidelined the XR series, especially with the news that DumaOS 4.0 will not be available for the XR series. This is incredibly disheartening, as it appears that users who invested in the XR routers are now facing outdated firmware, while the R-series is receiving the latest features. I believe this situation could have been handled differently, particularly given that Netgear is not a small company. If Netgear is truly committed to its customers, particularly those who have invested in the XR series, it should not deny them access to the latest firmware updates that bring the promised gaming features. Denying these updates is not only poor customer service, but it also undermines the trust that customers have placed in the brand. If the focus is indeed shifting entirely to the R-series, it would be much more transparent to acknowledge this and provide clear communication to customers regarding the future of the XR series. Itâs frustrating to feel like Iâve been caught in a cycle of purchasing products that, at the end of the day, are rendered obsolete faster than I could have ever anticipated. As it stands, Iâm left wondering whenâor ifâthere will be any updates for the XR series to bring them up to the same level of functionality as the R3. The lack of clarity and consistent communication about this issue is disappointing. Iâd also like to raise the point that Netgearâs partnership with DumaOS should be focused on providing a top-tier experience for all users, regardless of which series router they own. Denying updates or withholding features for older products feels like a missed opportunity for both Netgear and DumaOS to show their commitment to their customer base. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Best regards, L2W I do not mind being the đ in the room. SOMEONE HAS TO . Wanna see what happens when you buy their router ? The R3 , as you'll have access to all the latest and best features DumaOS has to offer. Not only has the XR been completely forgotten about , I mean WAKE UP XR FAMILY! We haven't seen a damn ounce of progress or let me rephrase. WHAT WE ARE USED TO SEEING! So anything new or access to a beta for us XR users anytime soon? DumaOS - NO BETA and WE DONT KNOW WHEN OR WHATS GOING ON! Now i firmly believe that statement that we get all the time when asked about beta. Quite frankly NO-ONE knows. Cause their isn't anything COMING! Just 18 hours agoo...... What im saying is , JUMP SHIP and look at the response you get when you purchase the R3!! -So again @Netduma Fraser , and of course the dude who just ran through my about me section, @Netduma Jack B Thanks for this little SLAP IN THE FACE TO ALL XR USERS! Getting Updates on the REGULAR must be nice., Nice to know firmware is given a time frame and such speedy delivery too. I ask with all good intentions......... WHERE DO WE XR USERS STAND?

HAPPY FRIDAY! . đ„łđ€© Now that's about as nice as it gets. "JUMPS IN THE SHALLOW END [HEAD FIRST]" đ Alright, @Netduma Fraser -đ€Ź Brace Yourself , This is not directed towards you personally, i mean you personally took this job , so give me as personal as it get's with DumaOS? I spent nearly **$500** on 2 XR routers (XR500/XR1000) because I believed the hype: âThe ultimate gaming router powered by DumaOS.â But instead of cutting-edge features, I got stuck in a never-ending cycle of broken promises and half-delivered updates. Now Iâm hearing that to get the latest and greatest features, I have to drop another **$200** on the R3? So, Iâm out almost **$700** just to stay current? Seriously, why did I even buy into the XR series if the âfuture-proofâ promise only applies to someone elseâs hardware? Oh wait ... That's your own hardware (SOLD SEPERATELY) And letâs not ignore the elephant in the room: **DumaOS 4.0.** The fact that itâs ânever coming to the XR seriesâ đ€Żsays everything I need to know. Why invest in a product thatâs been abandoned before itâs even reached its potential? Meanwhile, R-series users are enjoying the full experience, and XR users are left to rot on outdated firmware, i mean "Based on IOU's" and "We don't have a beta or know when it will be available" IN any other company - SAME SCENERIO. [Hey bruce, "rolls chair around with a quick swivel then pivot" , What's up Chad? Where we at on the beta for the LOL10000PEW's Firmware? Oh One second Bruce, "rolls chair around witha quick swivel then pviot" keys clacking on keyboard. Whips its backaround. So Bruce, were looking like 2 weeks tops. Thanks CHAD! . Oh one can dream .... I mean NETGEAR doesnt have to APPROVE the Beta Versions. Just DUMAOS right> . By the time we get DumaOS 3.3, the R-series will probably be running on version 6.0, complete with features we were promised from the start. (A Box can be so misleading) Itâs painfully clear this was the plan all along: đ€Ą 1. **Market the XR series** as cutting-edge gaming routers. 2. Promise firmware updates that never arrive. 3. Launch the R3 and make it the real star of the show, while XR users are told to sit tight. 4. Leave XR users permanently one step behind. Letâs face it, this is a **brilliant marketing scheme**: đ„ž - Netgear pulls in customers with promises of premium gaming features powered by DumaOS. - Updates for XR routers get delayed indefinitely. - DumaOS shifts focus to their R-series, forcing loyal XR users to spend more money just to stay relevant. Whatâs next?đ€ The **XR2000** in 2030? The **XR-StillOn3.3** in 2035? By 2040, weâll get the **XR-HopeYouDidnâtWant4.0** with a tagline that reads, âFirmware coming soon⊠we promise.â At this rate, weâll have routers named after the stages of grief: đ - XR1000: **Denial** â âTheyâll release the update any day now!â - XR2000: **Anger** â âWhy am I still waiting for this update?!â - XR3000: **Bargaining** â âMaybe if I tag Netduma everywhere, theyâll care.â - XR4000: **Depression** â âStill stuck on 3.3, but Iâm too tired to care anymore.â - XR5000: **Acceptance** â âGuess Iâll just buy an R3 and move on with my life.â And the best part? This isnât just disappointingâitâs insulting. It feels like we were used to build a customer base for DumaOS, only to be abandoned the second they decided to roll out their own hardware. âThanks for your money; hereâs an outdated firmware to remember us by!â đ Honestly, itâs like buying a sports car only to find out itâs missing the engine. âOh, you wanted speed? Thatâs in the R3 model. Would you like to upgrade?â At this point, the only thing âcutting-edgeâ about the XR series is how it cuts into my wallet. đ€Ł So, Fraser, where does this leave us?đ Because from where Iâm standing, XR users are nothing more than an afterthought in Dumas's bigger plan. Convert the customers of XR Series (NETGEAR) to R Series (YOUR COMPANY's ROUTER) Slowly pick off the customers of NETGEAR and take them all for yourself. Brilliant! Final Note - Since R3 is already out and kind of "meh" as is been quite some time that the "hype" of the R3 is kind of no more. (No disrespect, just in regards to a WIFI 6 Gaming Router to Others out their) When should i expect to purchase the R4-Wifi 7 - A router that can compete with todays Gaming Routers ( i wont list your competition, but GOOGLE will!) - Spoiler Alert - Check the "specs sheet" between an R3 vs XR1000 It all lies in the software.... ultimately DumaOS Seriously - Wallet in Hand. I'm ready to buy today P/S - Don't get to this point and be saltyđ . This is easily my way of letting my opinion get the best of me. Notice i didn't mention you (except Frazier) , so don't take anything i said personal. That goes for all (including Frazier) - " This was meant in no way shape or form to single any(one-person) out OR in no way to be disrespectful" Its a forum, for this exact reason. đ¶ LETS TALK ABOUT IT! Thank you for your time , L2W

HI , I recently like just a couple hours ago have decided to upgrade from the xr500 to the xr1000 , may i please have access to the beta firmware for the xr1000, i was on the xr500 beta firmware before switching , rc14. Please and thank you Maybe its just me, but i only play one game , and that game is Rocket Leauge and i play it on XBOX ONE SERIES X console .... SO i guess i cannot add my Console to Geo-Filter Now? I can add it but whats the point if i cannot select the options "Games Console" or the options "Rocket League" for Geo-Filter. I cannot add my xbox to some random game or cani ? I did have the option for Rocket League and more selections on the XR500.. Can someone help me?

Traffic Prioritization
648 USD - Wasted on DumaOS replied to Muhammad's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@Netduma Fraser I will essentially give this a test run. Thanks for the feedback. Ill let you know how it goes. I wonder why playstation and not put it as xbox lol -
@Netduma Fraser Intro - This is/was/still my current setup , as i understand the concept of DMZ and to be frank with you , i never will use this feature. Simply due to i have never had an issue with NAT when it comes to gaming. So i will not open the doors for basically the entire world to just waltz right into my personal settings aka everything would be at their fingertips and that would be a bad day for me. Of course this is speculation, as they would have to find me first . (lol oh thats a good joke. ahhhh) anyways. I always have Open NAT w/ no issues in that department. My main concern now is the fact i cannot seem to get my speeds correct? and lastly in the QoS section at the bottom with Traffic Prioritization , Can you tell me the correct "path" i should be using when setting this up on my Xbox One Series X as i want to prioritize the only game i play, which is rocket league while connected ethernet . This is my current way.Should i change Games Console to Rocket League? and Change Normal (Default) (WAN) to Gaming/Voice or Gaming/Voice (WAN) or .. what's the best way for me to set this for the best possible setting? Here is my WAN Setup as you can see this should be perfect, and this section doesn't need improvements? But my guess is im wrong again. So whatcha think? MY GOAL/CONLUSION - All im trying to do is setup the XR500 for optimal internet SPEEDS and PERFORMANCE and do not care about my wifes ps4 or my sons ps4 , they all can .... ahh im just kidding . But seriously im just trying to achieve best possible settings to lower my LATENCY which is this info - On console (80's - 90s .... Consistently , Once in a blue moon it will show 60s) - In Game (Rocket League) - INCONSISTENT! varies between 40s up to 100s per game. So if you could point me in the right direction, which i understand Trial and Error play a role and with all due respect sir, i just want settings for Rocket League. I do not play any other game, like is their "Optimal Settings" cheatsheet? Has anyone achieved this on Xbox Console? You guys should have a Section where you guys have listed "Optimal Gaming Tailored Per Game" and list the "Standard/Default" Settings for that game. As i know you guys could have already done that given how many times someone has asked about a game ,and im sure everyone is different , but thier should be a "guideline per game" , i unerstand COD or FIFA will be top picks , but what about for people like me, the lone ranger trying to get beset possible SPEEDS and PERFORMANCE with the lowest LATENCY possible? Thank you for your time. L2W
