i seem to lose my top speeds or no browsing. i reboot it and all returns to normal

since you guys are taking the time to improve the next frimware, can you add pptp and l2tp to the hybrid vpn. I tried to set up opvn on my mikrotik router in the US so when Im away I can access my directv stream and other services. but ovpn is too slow, and i cant upgrade to wireguard. I mean I could but id have to be on site and i dont want to do it remotely less i brick something and left without that vpn its crucial for me. I dont really care about those commerial vpns, they always get blocked by streaming services and i already have a gig connetion in the us its super fast and no cost to me. I really really need this. I love the router its worked great, i dont seem to get all the glitches everyone talks about maybe I got the silicone lottery hehehe. also how does that no lag vpn thing actually work? it only directs the auth traffic from a specified location to get you that fake location but for games you still go into the us right? I kinda already do this with a device called deeper network. I go into say africa, login to the game, the game thinks im in africa, i then turn off the vpn but still have the same local ip and go into us lobbies. so is that how nolag vpn works? Thanks.

does any one have a sample config ovpn file that one must use to load to connect to a server. i setup my own ovpn server generated the ca and stuff but i cant seem to get to connect thanks.

yes pls i have a personal vpn server of a beefy mikrotik router in the us that i use for my streaming and its never blocked or sused by hulu and them like publicly known vpns. i cant run a ovpn and pptp or l2tp are super easy to set up

I would really want pptp and l2tp support so one can connect to private servers. sometimes opvn or wire guard are not options to set for a home vpn server...

did as you said but for some reason I think its not the rule itself. the dpi is not naming youtube data as youtube rather unknown... i opened a 4k stream and look at my dpi info..

im just testing how dpi works but i tell it to block youtube (actually im recommending the router to a friend who wants to block youtube for kids). i do the block ing but it still loads also i dont see youtube in the consumption graph i see unkown alot though. im on 4.0.41 see theres a yt playing on the left tab

when I browse youtube the router is showing the type of data as unknown. I wonder why its not recognizing the youtube.com website can you block a specific website?

Does the vpn function support l2tp and pptp protocols.? I have private vpn server in a different location and would like to use the netduma to ocnnect to it rather than using a secondary router. Thanks

Does HPVPN support connecting to ones own pptp or L2tp type server ? I have a connection in another location and when I want to access content in that country I vpn to my private server there. Thanks
