It's unlikely to be the ISP, thank you for the logs, I'll pass that on and the team can take a look.

Freshjive reacted to Netduma Fraser in NEW R3 FIRMWARE 4.0.40
Try this link specifically: https://forum.netduma.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=38325&key=afda8f7d87048fcd675f5aeeba8b94e0
We haven't done anything with IPv6 specifically so it makes sense but thanks for letting us know that's still happening
Let's continue in your topic

Freshjive reacted to Netduma Fraser in NEW R3 FIRMWARE 4.0.40
Hello everyone, here is the first update of 2024 for the Netduma R3. This update is not available as a 1 click update from the interface, you will need to upgrade manually.
Please read carefully:
We have tested this firmware but not as much as we would have done normally, reason being is we wanted to get this out to people to try without any further delay SO it is possible you could see issues as with any firmware update but it's looking pretty good so far.
This update does not fix every single issue that has been reported, it is possible that issues you may have that aren't covered in the change log have been resolved but if its not been mentioned don't expect it to be fixed.
Please do not report issues you already have that haven't been fixed in this firmware, we know what the issues are and they're still being worked on. On the other hand if there is an issue you were having that has been fixed please do let us know as that helps just as much as reporting issues.
TL:DR
Don't report issues that have already been reported and that haven't been mentioned in the change log Report whether issues mentioned in the change log and issues that haven't been mentioned have been fixed Report any new issues you've encountered after upgrading Changelog:
Improvements to stability of upgrade process (memory issue should be fixed) Improved performance during high bandwidth usage Fixed a bug when disabling multiple devices in Adblocker Added ability to select individual server in Ping Heatmap when servers are grouped together Improved reliability of Speed Test Reduced CPU usage of certain services that were causing ping spikes Various frontend styling fixes Firmware removed while we work to fix issues.

Freshjive reacted to Netduma Fraser in new update v.4.0.40
Hello everyone, I will make a new topic with the firmware when ready so you can download it and try, I won't be sending it to people individually so no need to ask

😆 Wasn't trying to get everybody in a tizzy.
Wanted to make sure everyone knew how to go through the update process. Especially because this is the first big push of the year.
When the update shows up for you guys be sure to factory reset when you're done. I know going back to complex setups with multiple devices can be a bit of a headache. Just make sure you do that before reporting any bugs.
Thanks
Scott

Freshjive reacted to Netduma Fraser in The r3 situation is unacceptable
Alright guys this topic is getting a little heated so I'm going to close it. A new update is being compiled currently, it'll get tested a little bit more, if everything looks okay I'll allow people to try it out tomorrow.

Freshjive got a reaction from Newfoundland in The r3 situation is unacceptable
I have realistic expectations as I read that it was pre-release. Sometimes acceptance gets confused with ignorance. I knew what I was getting into.

Freshjive reacted to rvndo in So where’s the update then?
If you're willing, I have a suggestion. Factory reset the router. (why do I suggest this? good question! Because that gives you a fresh starting point!)
after factory reset, DO NOT TURN ON ADDBLOCKER!!!! I think it is the 💩 that hit the fan.
as far as getting the best out of the things in this router that are working (BECAUSE, AND I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH, because I often post sarcastic or negative comments in here, THERE ARE MANY THINGS ABOUT THIS ROUTER THAT ARE WORKING AND WHEN THEY DO, IT IS THE SAUCE THAT WE BOUTGHT IT FOR) set up your congestion controls till you get the A+ grade on the waveform speed test, then your hit detection will be good in Call of Duty

Freshjive reacted to Netduma Fraser in Feedback on 4.0.23 Beta
If your bandwidth speeds fluctuate a lot best to set them as the average of what you achieve. Then you can experiment with the Congestion Control settings to fine tune.
Glad to hear it, once the team are back updates should start coming out much faster.

Freshjive reacted to Nine in Ping optomizer is not working.
I found out that the reason why the ping optimizer fails sometimes is also possibly because there is a device on your network that is causing it to fail, like how I found out that my Wi-Fi extender wasn't functioning properly, once I removed it, it started working normally. But once I put my Wi-Fi extender back on the network it stops again. Merry Christmas Everyone 🙂

Not really sure what the issue is but some things are not working... ping optomizer, and the update is grey'd out. I power cycled the gateway, and r3..3 times re-ran the test and fail every time
