This looks like it might be fixed. It looks like its categorizing The Finals correctly now.

I would have never thought to check this. Mine had QoS on per port. What does DSCP QoS mode do different out of curiosity?

Reporting back after testing. Looks like The Finals Traffic is still categorized as Hi-Rez Games.
-
I was curious about the same. I kinda just assumed re-syncing the cloud from the go-filter worked device wide so I did it from there.

I have my PS5 beind a Nighthawk SX10 switch which I think is very similar to the S8000. My PS5 showed up in device manager as unknown and I just named it PS5 myself as Fraser mentions. Everything works normally there. Fuzy is also correct in that the switch is in offline devices normally. I gave it name, a dhcp reservation, and manually set the ip. Works great.

I'm seeing The Finals traffic shows up as Hi-Rez games traffic... It appears to work in go-filter and smartboost when I add Hi-Rez games. No one in the house plays any Hi-Rez games and that specific traffic is only active when playing The Finals.

I have Citrix Secure Access showing as Killer Instinct gaming. Thought it was fixed but was mistaken. That traffic started showing as Killer Instinct again after I rebooted the R3. Was uncategorized for a short while strangely.

@Disrek Awesome! Are the adapters you used just SMA Male to RPSMA Female?
-
Not seeing a big difference in Wifi strength

@Newfie On a similar note, do you know if its ok to use other antennae on the R3? Say a set of XR1000s to see if it helps the signal at all? I dont know if theyre universal or not. -

Yea guys I get much of how citrix and dpi all work under the hood so I guess I wasn't asking about why it's happening so much. And I also am aware dpi is not totally accurate. I know the encrypted traffic can't be inspected and it's best guessing. Which is why I bring this up lol. I was throwing out my observation and asking if there was a way to add it to the "library" you mention. Call it a feature request I guess? But like I said, it's not really an issue so if it can't it can't. No biggie. Thanks guys!
