OHi i just did this update to 4.0 and can not get back online. I installed new firmware and about 30 minutes later ofline globe icon shows up in bottom right coner of widows 11 desktop task bar. I plug gateway straight into computer and i can go online and have internet. Things i have tried to get router to go online are upluged up to 8 times and pushed resset pin with power on in back of R2 router no joy.. Any sugestions?? Ok i had my son hook up the router because i'm at work and now its working. I guess it just wanted to take a nap and or break overnight? Who knows .. so how do i go about canceling R3 order?

Let me cancel R3 purchase until i can figure out if R2 is bricked because of software update.. it worked for about 30 mins then disconected permanently it seems.

Oh wow after searching on site About R3 and Os 4.0 it seems i may have purchased an R3 today that is having same issue as my R2 after Firmware V4 update.. Disconnection from intrrnet even though Gateway works when pluged into single computer. Ouch!!

Yup just purchasedcthe R3 i can not be down for days on end and kids are in the house for the next 2 weeks for the holidays. They will bug me non stop about not having internet lol. I will go to bestbuy and get a cheap router in the mean time to get the kids internet back up and running..

The Gui looked really cool while it lasted.

is caddy 1.2 or 1.3 still available? i had to fresh install windows 11 on my pc and lost lots of files/programs that i forgot to back up and caddy 1.2 was one of them. miss being able to see more details about the servers location while playing mw2.

does anyone know what the audio bit rate for audio in MW2 2022 is? eg. is it like 24bit 48000hz or 16bit 44100 or something else?

crazy i play on pc now and have two friends on xbox series s. one can hear footsteps that sound like elephants stomping around and from a far distance and for me and the second friend the sound is garbled and directional audio plus footsteps is none exsistant until enemy is 2 meters away from you it seems.

how about any other routers? will this work also with or just specific to duma? More or less just for the hyper lane i guess it's called?

was having problems with getting this app to work. Version 1.2 but i figured it out. For Xbox use PORT 3075 not PORT 3074. In the Advanced Network settings xbox is saying it's using port 3074 but the app will not detect servers with 3074. Also strange is that the allow/deny lists can be saved using either port 3074,3075

which is the server the bold peer that looks like it's near indonesia i think or the dedi small icon inside the triangle.. also if it's the one near indonesia 5ms ping can not be right. sometimes i get a server in cali that say's i'm connected to it and it too has a very low ping which is impossible. Also for whatever reason i do now see servers outside the triangle being blocked.. Maybe you can only block servers in polygon mode with strict enabled?

a cod warzone ip pulled from heatmap and inserted into a list i made and maybe i don't know how to get it to work but there are your screen shots tell me what i'm doing wrong.. same working ip from ping heatmap now when i manually make a list it does not work.. I guess that's normal

ok cool it's been over a month prior to this that i asked what's it's function and was told what it does and that it would be fix from several admins. so what's the time frame now, not for R1 user's of beta 3.0 But the R2 user's that this feature should work for on Optimized Duma 3.0? Yes the next time i see that occur i will screen shot, "host outside of radius".

Oh ok try to go to your ping heatmap and see if you can copy the ip's from ping heat map and make your own custom list. If it pings within custom heatmap should it ping in your custom list using the same ip's or not ping within your custom list you took from ping heatmap? the deny servers are scattered or mixed in a hugh list of over 150 allowed servers.that will take alot to screen shot. my question is that i don't see any servers being blocked ever. strict mode is on servers outside of geo map still get through. maybe i have something not set up right. i use to see on R1 before 3.0 beta, i would see servers outside of geo with a line through them now i do see this in R1 beta3.0 or R2 3.0 fully optimized. so to end i'm asking because i'm not sure if geo filter is working to block out servers i deny, that's all

Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong with creating a customized list straight from ping heatmap then inputting these ip's into my own custom list and the ping information does not show up? I thought this was only a problem on the R1 Beta but it seems it's not showing up on the, Optimized version R2? anyone having troubles blocking/denying servers? i have blocked many but it seems geo filter has never shown me any blocked servers at all and i have over 50 blocked on the R2 ?

If, Duma is currently working on bugs in their beta group as of now it would not be business savvy to launch a new product without addressing the OS for the old gear unless they have 3.0 ready by the launch date of their new router.. Gee you have a good point that's not cool but give em some more time lets see what shakes out. They have almost two weeks left before they ship their new routers to get a beta out to everyone that have old os. I wonder if they will push back the launch date of their new R2 router if 3.0 is not ready??

So are you pre ordering the R2 or what..Is there any other router out in the wild that gives you a choice to allow or deny a server or p2p connection that's on the market today??. Duma has known this already since 2014 and now even still in 2020 lol. I think other router manufactures have dropped the ball so to speak when it comes to a real difference for some real control, over lag in online games. Duma solved the problem with the os back then.. All the years that have passed just allowed them to fine tune the os even more and now add more features that are not really needed... I wonder if another router company will be able to do the same present day. Does duma have a patent on their allow block feature? all that matters for a gamer is allow and deny and maybe qos bandwidth control nothing else i imagine.

Don't pull your hair out. use allow and deny it has worked wonders for me with os 1.3 and even prior versions. Games are great for me in cod modern in which i play most often. If you deny the bad peers and dedi's only keep dedicated servers which are in your favor you will not have to many issues if your playing cod if that is your issue... More than likely if your playing any other games it's basic, the same..

yup you got it, so its the same since day one lol. Ok cool if thats the way the devs intended for it to be so be it. It is more likely that you could suggest maybe the changes if you think it's kinda quirky but if not and you think its fine ok that's cool. Strange how download and upload adjustments do reflect the same in one instance or state then in another state they are un-synced. From day one i thought it was weird but hey i did not develop the software and i'm just a cable guy so what do i know lol...

ok i don't know how to do a small video but i will try to explain again maybe less confusing. Bandwidth allocation octagon or pie on left the largest window with all devices in Qos pick a device.. Using the toggle selection at top of octagon in which you have two choices Download and Upload. Select download above octagon on, see changes occurring in right side smaller window for device bandwidth and watch it go up and down in sync. Next select upload in above octagon see if the changes are reflected in right side smaller widow for selected device bandwidth and is it being reflected in that right window the same as download does in sync. In other words when you toggle from download speed adjustments in left window then switch to upload in the same window it is not being reflected properly i believe in the adjacent window but again this is probably just the way you guys set it up and its fine. thanks for checking it out on the OS 3.0 if its not happening so it is not an issue in 3.0 just on the older milestone 1.3 and not that it is a problem just the way your devs made it.

Question about milestone 1.3. Not sure if this is a bug or not but could you check it on 3.0 and see if it exists there also. In Qos bandwidth allocation section. when i try to change download speed for one specific device lets say XBOX1 then next go to upload on milestone 1.3 it stays stuck on the download allocation and does not switch unless you select another total different device in the allocation bandwidth section then go back to your original which in my case would be XBOX1, just to change the upload allocation speed. Hope this question makes some sort of sense and if it's supposed to be that way or not and if it is, is it the same in your milestone 3.0 version? with the R1 or XR500 Would like to be able to just toggle from download allocation hit save then go to upload allocation speed hit save for one device and that's it and not go to another device come back just to do the upload speed changes but maybe it is the way it's supposed to be i guess. This has existed from day one of the original first software also
