If you had to guess how long before a non beta complete version is finished? are the testers finding many issues in the beta that stops you guys from making a finalized version?

Ok mate thought i'd try being that you could not use the version they sent you lol😲.. I would have liked to try it out also like others that keep asking but hey i can wait until they either put me into the beta cue for next up or when the working finished version comes out.

Did see a consistency issue with duma verses the edge router x. Duma is only better in that i can select and block out the bad servers that give me hit detection problems in the first place. other than that a router is a router is a router.. I'm sending the edge router x back. It's also not plug and play. Lastly i'm sure lets say if another router outfit was to come up with a way to route by way of hops/priority game traffic with least hops on internet connection, to said game servers and a blocking feature to bad servers then that would be a real game changer in routers. For now we are married to Duma ,"not a bad thing" because they currently are the best because we can block bad servers and there is no others out there that can do this to my knowledge. Maybe in the future that will change? who knows. Duma waiting on an update for lest hops routes to game servers for priority game packets? is that possible? is that in the works lol..

interesting. I Returning an XR450 to amazon for a refund. Only reason is because i could not register the product due to being that it was a return item that i bought at a marked down price of 139. Putting the r1 back into action despite a minor issue i had with the r1. Also will order that inexpensive router to check out how fqcodel +htb compares to duma os. Duma works well for me just curious what other technologies are upto and at a price point so low why not give a different gaming router a shot?

I agree the the software does work pretty darn good when you tweak it so i'm not hyped like many are for an update that i'm not sure will make it any better than it is now when it comes to lag only through bandwidth allocation, server choice and bad game connections from an isp.. Duma had addressed this when they made the OS years ago. there is nothing more to add accept polish by bells and whistles. Hell i don't have issues except for too many devices on at once, high cpu usage and maybe control over devices to lock out the snot nosed son or nerf his connection when he's being big brains. Upgraded to an XR450 only because its newer and i got a renewed through amazon for 139.. I will sell my R1 to a friend after upgrading and keep the XR450.. To end i could be wrong but really only see a repackaging of what already works with some more control over functionality. Nothing new really but don't tell this to anyone who thinks the update will fix the bad isp or maybe bad skills at fps games lol..

question? what has not started yet? a small beta group or a beta to the masses that own an R1?

I get it and all the praise but, that is not going to get you to the front of the six feet apart line, probably with hundreds of people before you and duma only letting one customer in at a time to try the beta lol..

Having issues with max cpu usage of 80-90% withe the R1.. just got a xr450 in the mail because of high cpu usage on the R1 because of alot of devices connected all at once. Question is the R1 software the same as the xr450 ?? can i use that software if i was sent it today to upgrade the xr4500 or do i have to register my new xr router and get a different software for that, other than the R1 that i'm signed up to receive already for 3.0?? So you guys are already working on 3.1 i just hope if you stick a price tag on the other features #5,#6,#7,#8,#9 and so on it's not too expensive lol..

I just signed up for the beta but like who really cares lol.. statement about the R-Apps? this reminds me of micro transaction that all the latest installations of fps games have deployed in the last several years. Lets hope i'm wrong but there maybe an addition monetary value placed on the making of these apps and passed along to guess who? Possibly another way to keep selling software pieces of a product already owned buy end users already, just to get another feature of software upgraded lol..
