mindlash got a reaction from Netduma Fraser in 5G WiFi stops, but not 2G
Hey Fraser ... Correct, I run two different bands, named differently as well.
There is no rhyme or reason as to when/why the 5G drops... I will grab the log next time.

mindlash got a reaction from Netduma Fraser in Warzone (2.0) - Looking for serious suggestions to help with improvement, if even possible.
Eesh.
Family of 4, with someone always here. That test may be difficult if not impossible any time soon. But I'll keep that nugget on standby.
Ironic thing, is I've always blamed my ISP for their very high ping - Cable, typically I have a 27 ping to my ISP, everyone else I play with are 15 or lower. While I was writing that post, someone stopped by with a door hanger, and apparently at some point soon we're getting fiber. This is great, as I'm STUCK with only one ISP here and have been for a decade. So this is potentially good news in the near future.
Thanks for the feedback @Netduma Fraser

mindlash reacted to rvndo in NEW R3 FIRMWARE 4.0.40
Hello. I am in the same boat as you. I thought that I was buying what was advertised in all the very well produced youtube advertisements. The hardware looks exactly like the video, however when I try to use the device things are as buggy and frustrating as so many in this forum have reported.
I am not an expert in networking by any means and as you can see the R3 is the third Duma os enabled router that I have purchased. Have you gone down the rabbit hole which is bufferbloat? I have discovered that this one thing may be the key to good hit detection in Call of Duty. It may well be that steady ping is unneeded if you get an A+ on the waveform bufferbloat test. I am still running some tests to see if this is indeed the case. Am I still frustrated that I didn't get what I thought I was spending my money on? YES However, if I am able to play Call of Duty without always loosing gunfights because the opponent always sees me first and has eliminated me at the authoritative server before I can even challenge them........ maybe its not what was advertised but in a round about way it will solve the problem that I wanted solved? Still testing and contemplating. Best of luck to you on this frustrating endeavor.

mindlash got a reaction from Newfoundland in Network Activity - Showing lots, but Saying little...
This goes beyond that — the password for this router is fresh, but what’s concerning is that my upload was showing a faster speed than what my ISP can even handle. That’s what got my. I can only upload at 23MB… but then I saw it was ‘router’ traffic… so I’m guessing it was internal traffic? - just commenting on it to see if it were a bug and/or a feature request to break down internal ‘router’ traffic so we can better examine it.

mindlash got a reaction from Disrek in Network Activity - Showing lots, but Saying little...
I couldn't help but notice just now that my Network Activity showed that I was using up close to 100Mbps. Of course, seeing as my ISP maxes out at 23, I was drawn to inspect. Upon said inspection, ... well you can see... nothing was showing using the bandwidth.
Oh but then I figured I would try the 3 dots, to see what hides behind
And low and behold...'Router'.
Can I get any more information than this?
