I did it @Netduma Fraser thank you 👍

My first impression is that the previous version had occasional problems with ping optimization. QoS wasn't working. Currently, ping optimization doesn't work at all in this version, QoS is working i set it manualy
-
Do I need to reset the factory settings twice or is once enough? @Netduma Fraser
-
The problem is, which program should I use to open the file? Because it opens the update file directly with "notepad" and gives an error while installing.
-
Hi duma family. I have a question for you. After downloading the trial version, what program should I use to open the file? I don't want to do anything wrong.
-
Hello @Netduma Fraser If possible, I would like to join in the version testing ?
-
Even if I set it to the desired value, there is no effect. Optimized ping sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't. I connect to ONT / PPPOE, and as I said, I had no problems 2-3 days ago; everything was working perfectly.
-
Previously, bufferbloat test values in waveform website were "0" latency download and upload. Currently, QoS is set manually and there is no spurious effect in "always on" mode.
-
Hi @Netduma Fraser i’ve same problem. It was working perfectly until a few days ago. I checked today, and even though the congestion control mode was "always on," the values were corrupted. I did a hard reset on the router and reconfigured everything. QoS isn't working. So, there's already a problem with ping optimization. I manually set the QoS values to 95%, but there was no response. Then I set it to 75%, and there was still no response. I think you need to have a review done urgently.

R3 problem with filtering on apex legends
Mehmet replied to Winterfresh's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Hi, I have the same error. My geo filter is Frankfurt, Germany, but it plays on the Oklahoma City server, why? -
-
I did what you said and disabled the modem. I established a direct ONT —> R3 connection, but the connection status says offline. Everything else works normally. However, I only get an error when logging into the R3 interface.
-
So you're saying, I can remove the modem and connect R3 directly to the ONT, right?
-
So, what should I do in this situation? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? I did what Frazer suggested and left the DHCP and UPNP settings enabled on the modem and the firewall. How do you recommend I use it?
-
This is what it looks like in bridge mode right now. I don't know if I need to do anything else. @Netduma Fraser
-
I did as you said and hard reset the modem. I put the modem back into bridge mode and didn't touch anything inside it, I left it on as you can see in the pictures. I'm leaving it like this, right?
-
My connection is as down the picture @Netduma Fraser. I switched the modem to bridge mode. I entered the username and password into the R3 PPPoE. I disabled DHCP on the modem, but I manually entered the R3's MAC address and IP address. UPNP and firewalls are also disabled on the modem. Am I doing anything wrong?
-
Hi @Netduma Fraser When I first disabled UPNP and DHCP on the modem, I got an error in bridge mode. This time, I did it like this and there's no problem. The R3 is working fine now.
-
Yes, I'm using an ONT modem. I cloned R3's MAC address from the modem's DHCP and wrote it down. I disabled DHCP and UPNP on the ONT modem. Everything is now handled by R3.
-
Should I turn off UPNP on the modem?
-
No, DHCP and UPNP are enabled on the modem. They are already enabled on the R3. I have problems when I disable them on the modem.
-
Yes, the modem is in bridge mode. But when I previously disabled UPNP and DHCP, I experienced disconnections on R3. So I left it enabled. Yes, the connection is like this: modem - R3 - Xbox. What should I write about DNS?
-
And I didn't turn off DHCP and UPNP on the modem. Will there be a problem because when I turned it off before, R3 had disconnections.
-
I didn't enter DNS but no problems occurred. By the way, the default DNS of my modem was 192.168.1.1. What should I enter as my DNS if I don't want to use Google or Cloud DNS?
-
And one more thing, as a moderator, your first job is to write in a language that everyone can understand, and that's English, right? If you don't know, I suppose you can use a translation program???
