Sorry i didnt realise the time,and its a Sunday,can we continue convo tomorrow and walk me through step by step,i had it woekin before but only with a static ip that i did in an ipconfig following a guide but i cannot find that now so have no clue how to do it.

Upto now I’ve put the Netduma r3 wan ip into the EE smart hub and added these ports to the ee hub and Netduma I’m not even sure if that is correct,it was so easy to set up with Bt smart hub but this is a different animal and I’m not so good with computers

Hi Fraser, Thanks for the reply,having difficulty locating that in the hub,cannot see any option in the EE hub. Any pointers where to look

Hi guys, previously had open nat type and for some reason i can no longer get it,have played around with settings and still cant,i had this issue before and fixed it by creating a static ip but cannot find the link i used before to do that now,can anyone help an old timer out please.

Can confirm ping optimiser doesn’t work,was working fine with the last beta,any chance I can get that and roll back please Fraser ? Also for some reason now my network doesn’t show as Netduma as before

Hi Fraser, thanks for the help, i managed to get open nat by adding those to the EE router and making a static ip by going into ipconfig and using my details.

Before I contact them and waste half a day .. do I need the upnp on or off on both routers .. also found this on searching the net .. enclosed picture .. what ports would you suggest opening on the eve router

like i said im using a pc only with x box games pass !! that is my gaming device !! Ethernet is always plugged into netduma and always had open nat before new router. Ive tried plugging it into the ee router as you said and i get the same moderate nat type.

So do you mean taking the Ethernet out the Netduma R3 and placing it directly into the EE router, how would i then be able to access Duma os So i took the ethernet out from the netduma and placed it into the ee router,can no longer access duma os as i have the wifi off and only use ethernet ? same nat type moderate with EE router?

HI Fraser, Im checking the Nat Type status in game on Bo6 in network, ive tried with geo filter on and off and both will say nat type moderate ? im playing on pc using the xbox games pass.Have always had geo filter on previously with the older router and achieved open nat ?

Hi, Could someone help me please.Ive always been able to play with open nat type on my previous bt smart hub 2 to router bridged with the R3 with it in DmZ.Trouble im having now is ive just upgraded from BT smarthub 2 and joined EE 910 package with the new Ee smart hub pro and smart wifi 7,My Pc is always conncted via ethernet, ive set the EE router into DMZ with the ip from the R3 WAN as with previous router but cannot gain Open nat only Moderate ? Anyone else had the same issues and know of a remedy please.Thanks in advance.

i use firefox with add on uBlock Origin and no longer get ads on you tube any more you could just try that.

i just updated my firmware that then got stuck and since havent been able to connect or set up .. help please ive tried to reset numerous times but cannot connect to router settings ? its just showing as hidden and asks for ssid etc ? Before update network was showing as Netduma now its not appearing ?

Hey thanks for the reply .. I was using the desktop version on my iPad Pro and the device settings was a bit clunky on that so went back to the app version and I managed to sus the device thing out and added the PlayStation 5 to it. Il wait until the cloud has been updated and take it from there.Again thank you Fraser.

I’m having same issues and what makes things more difficult for me is the box that appears on device manager to set names is greyed out everytime and cannot progress because of it I cannot select anything
