Thanks for the logs, I can't see anything that shouts out too much on the R2. On the R2 LAN Settings, set the DHCP pool so that the IPs you have given the devices are outside of the range and see if it is better. For example, range = .2 - .250 change to .50 - .250 and ensure devices have an IP between .2 & .49.
Was that the entirety of the XR log? I imagine so given its in AP mode so it's not doing much.

Glad you got access back. The ports are gigabit ports so you would not be able to get 1130 at the very most you would get 1000 which is the hardware limit but realistically you're looking more around 900ish. If you put in 1000 it will save.

It was going to be but we encountered some pretty major issues with it last minute and had to pull it prior to release. We have been looking at an API - this would specifically be useful for the Rapp store at a later date. Thanks for the suggestions, any more do let us know!

Respectfully, we shouldn't have to be trying workarounds for months about bugs that you've already acknowledged.

This is a high-end consumer product and it's being marketed like one, but the performance is subpar.
It also has a watered-down feature-set due to NETGEAR's partnership with BitDefender, and for a "high-end" product that is disappointing...

We've paid a good amount of money for something that we expect to work out of the box, and, at least in my case, ever since I've set it up (and after 5 or so factory resets too) devices do keep dropping connection which shouldn't ever happen on a product that is marketed has high-end.

There's been no updates to the firmware in quite some time, and we keep being told that "things are being worked on" yet no real ETA on a firmware update and we're still waiting for one to fix a product we paid almost half a grand for.

I don't think that's a priority for us at the moment but I do get where you're coming from. Great suggestion, I'll pass it on, thanks!

I'm pretty confident it will yes, it is NGs decision at the end of the day but they love all the features and they've heard what the community want!
It most cases the trials just have a untested fix with no other changes - I just don't have one to provide at the moment. Perhaps when we get closer to release I can provide one

Thanks for picking up an R2!
Yeah you can give the R2 the XR1000s MAC address, that shouldn't be a problem.
Then you can run the XR1000 in AP mode and it will simply by an extender so shouldn't cause any issues!

Some more transparency on where they're at with fixing these issues would be greatly appreciated by all XR1000 owners in my opinion.
The way we see it currently is that the XR1000 was a cheap money grab, with plenty of issues almost a year after launch and barely any updates to correct them.

At the time I bought this router, Hybrid VPN was advertised as a feature on the product details of it, but when I received it, I had to go through the forum only to find out that it was removed because of NETGEAR's partnership with BitDefender - not good, nor ethical of them to do that.

I'm considering on buying an R2 from you guys - the firmware and UI is decent and far better than that of other routers. But the experience I've had with this XR1000 has been terrible so far, and the future is looking stale for it at the moment.

    XR1000...
I got to be honest...I'm extremely upset and at my wits end with this router. I browse this forum constantly for hope of some fixes...some stability...SOMETHING! But nothing. I get it, Covid has made some serious impacts to development and support. But at what point do we make some sort of news update or hint at progress. When you guys started dropping hints that OS 3.0 was coming...that was good. That was helpful to know something was being done. But lately? All I've seen is "we're working on it". That gets very frustrating to hear with nothing more to it. I know you guys are working hard...but give us some news.

Sorry, I just really needed to vent. But in another post I was asked to list the issues so here we go:
5Ghz Failure - Over the last week, this router's 5Ghz suddenly and RANDOMLY stops working for random devices throughout my home. We're talking Nintendo Switches, iPads, Samsung Galaxy Tablets, Roku Sticks...the list goes on. There's been no power spikes in our home. No one touches the thing physically. Antennas are all good and in perfect shape. I mean the thing still looks brand new. Can't Use Smart-Connect because Google Nest Hub and my EufyVac do not like it. (posted about that before as well)  MU-MIMO both on and off do not change anything OFDMA off and on also changes nothing.  Turning off 2.4ghz also did not thing...but not feasible for non-5ghz devices. Sometimes my Samsung Tablet and phone (note 10+) will say it can't get an IP when the router does finally switch the 5g back on after a reboot...so you might wonder...did he try Static IPs... Yes. But in the router config only as I've often seen suggested here. After a Power Cycle to "Fix" the above issue...then I run into "DumaOS Not Loaded" and purposely left it like this once...and it stayed like that FOR OVER 24 hours! But that keeps happening...so I move to the next "fix" Annoying work around...unplug the power for 5 mins. Re-flash firmware... Yes, I've done it through the interface...when I can get in due to it's slowness (that will be another listed issue) Yes, I've done it also through TFTP. Both tries...result in this thing working for a week...maybe 2. Current firmware: Firmware Version 1.0.0.52 Also tried the previous one before that and even the initial release firmware Interface Slowness - Using Chrome, Firefox, slow as the dickens...ran it on a clean Microsoft Surface Tablet with no extensions and addons...but works SLIGHTLY faster in Edge (Chromium version) I made a comment in another post a few months back saying that if I went into Developer mode and disabled images and tried running it with "to allow insecure content" but only for the config page...no luck. Response then (requires a fix on our side). Can't really use the app to do much because it always throws and error saying it can't detect what router i have...but all I can do is initiate a reboot command when I can't get into the interface on PC.  Geo-Fence - Ran into issue a few times where it would not let me make any changes because of a "deleted device". Other posts i've seen this issue on says that a config file must have been loaded. I can agree that I've tested this...that is definitely an issue...but... Also tested this with no config file...and seems to happen a lot on my son's switch when he takes it with him to a friends house. What's consistent...his switch is always the first device I add. R-Apps not loading...this is also constant. Nothing else really to say but refresh the page about 18 or so times until it does. Logs - This one I feel should be a bit more critical. We'll get asked to send logs to help with diagnosing issues...well it's kinda difficult when: Rebooting the router....DELETES THE LOGS. Why? Defeats the point of well...a log. Configuring the router to email you the logs...is extremely truncated. I posted about this as well...still not fixed. "How truncated is truncated?"  So, here's the thing. I love this router, it's design is awesome. The interface visually is superb. The power of the Wifi (when it works) is Amazing! I've always been a fan of Netgear routers...ok cautious fan lol. But to spend 350 dollars on this router to had so many problems and so few short days of actual support from netgear only to be told "talk to the Duma OS boys" is a huge slap in the face.
At this point asking for news...I feel like I'm getting support from Dice "Soon". This device is impacting me working from home far more than it should and I will not let my wife win this war about just getting a router from our internet provider! Send help!

Thanks for the feedback nonetheless, and thanks for your interest in sticking with DumaOS, we really appreciate that.
We'll continue working hard on the NPG line-up and do our best to release firmware as frequently as possible, I do believe once DumaOS 3.0 is in full release the firmware cycle will be more fluid.

Could you give the devices reserved IPs in LAN Settings on the router please, then on the devices forget the WiFi network, then reconnect and see if they're better then?

I think they have this option as well actually so do this please, go to WiFi settings then tap the gear icon next to the XR Wi-Fi name, go to MAC address type, select Use phone MAC, then turn OFF your device's Wi-Fi and then ON again and see if they're able to connect properly and that the disconnects stop.

These settings for me are the most stable...but still have devices like my eufyVac, Google Nest Hub, and sometimes my Note10+5G drop:
Where I have the major issues is when smart connect is on (which i'd like to actually use) the eufyvac and nest hub doesn't even connect at all. and 2 of my Roku Stick+ devices drop wifi constantly.

I can confirm that this is still happening, with and without AX being enabled.
I'm going to attempt to disable Smart Connect and manually join the 5GHz channel as suggested by @Netduma Liam - I'll reply back here with the results!

Edit: I will also note that MU-MIMO has no difference either.
