  1. I'm surprised that it wasn't incorporated with 3.0 to be honest, as it'll be quite a handy tool to track monthly bandwidth usages. One idea I had in mind was an API to remotely manage adblocker lists. So for example, an external Discord bot could be used for this. It would be really nice to have that level of freedom with it though, could even integrate the above idea with Google Home / Alexa devices If you do consider it, I'd suggest adding a developer mode toggle so regular users don't stumble across it for obvious reasons
  2. Any idea when the Data History RApp is going to become available? And will there be any framework or access for us to develop our own RApp's in the future and possibly share them via Github or so?
  3. Do you have any idea if the XR1000 is going to get any of the special DumaOS apps that were removed? More notably, the Hybrid VPN and Ad Blocker apps. It's a high-end router so there's no excuse to not have them available for use at some point...
  4. Any update on getting a proper fix for this?
  5. Alright @Netduma Fraser, I gave it more time and intentionally left one of the few devices that are having this issue on an unreserved IP. All of the devices that had a reserved IP has been completely fine, but the leftover device that didn't have a reserved IP once again kept dropping on 2.4GHz. It seems like making an IP reservation has solved the issues we were having with this - I'll double-down on it in a few weeks to allow time for this device to have a moment again, and if it doesn't, then that's our solution until the next update (hopefully?).
  6. Just done that, I'll let you know how it is after a couple days. Thanks.
  7. Both devices are already set to use the device MAC address, so that's not the issue I think.
  8. Notably, the devices get stuck on "Obtaining IP Address" and end-up never actually obtaining one, thus being unable to connect.
  9. Android devices, but weirdly enough my phone seems to have been fine - maybe I'm not using it enough to notice these drop-outs. The two devices that are (primarily) affected by this is an Android tablet and some Samsung A20 variant or so - one being on 2.4GHz and the other on 5Ghz.
  10. A little update; It's not as bad as before after messing with the settings I noted here previously, but some devices do still cut out intermittently requiring a reboot to solve. Both channels are separate (as they should be) without using smart connect. Can we get an update on where you guys are at with this particular issue? Has the culprit been found yet at least?
  11. Yeah I agree. I feel like for how recent this router is and the price tag it has, it's not getting updated as often as it should. This issue has been ongoing now for more than 3 months by the looks of things... we shouldn't have to disable advertised features like this in order for Wi-Fi (or any other important functionality) to work.
  12. I feel like Smart Connect is causing devices to drop. After disabling it, none of our devices have dropped so far, but it's too early to tell yet.
  13. I can confirm that this is still happening, with and without AX being enabled. I'm going to attempt to disable Smart Connect and manually join the 5GHz channel as suggested by @Netduma Liam - I'll reply back here with the results! Edit: I will also note that MU-MIMO has no difference either.
