  1. Hmmm sorry to be a noob how exactly are they doing that and how would it feel more responsive. Surly that's another process slowing it down? Would this still work for someone gaming on a gig down. I connect exclusive to uk servers and I'm on 4ms to 6ms Also is this more for wireless gaming lag spikes?
  2. I used to think dhl was good but ever since working for them and taking them to a tribunal...... even internally speaking to anyone with authority is impossible. I genuinely raised a case for hours pay they owed me over 1 thousand pounds and even the case management team had issues with them to a point they said if you don't pay what is owed they would take it further themselves.... since then I absolutely hate dhl with a passion. I've paid £10 for there delivery service that got shipped yesterday from Cambridge taking it to a distribution centre in London to come back up to dunmow.... They could have left the package at Cambridge distribution centre and delivered it from there. Not only that but for £10 postage that states next day delivery them not working Saturday or Sunday is laughable. I think evri and dpd are doing a much better job these days at least evri in my area is
  3. I'm still waiting on the video for this feature what exactly is it doing?
  4. Just received my dhl email it's in Cambridge only up the road from me lol I wonder where netduma is based and If I could have picked it up lmao
  5. With Wireguard will you be adding vpn brands to the router ui. I had the asus with surfshark built in and it was brilliant as you didn't have to copy paste everything over and over. And even if not will you please add the admin and password to actually stay on the page. So everytime I change locations I haven't got to copy paste admin copy paste password copy paste vpn?
  6. Did this ever come to light lol its actually a good idea. Yes the accidental press is a thing but the button underneath would mean lifting and pressing for 10 seconds couldn't be an accident
  7. I had this issue with a tp link. Something to do with the slow cpu not handling everything and yes with qos on dropped half my speed was a joke. How companies get away with that is insane but homework seems to be the key these days as buisness is buisness and no body tells you the facts
  8. Will the r3 be able to use Wireguard vpn?
  9. When will you go over what the anti jitter? Ping stabilisation does?
  10. How would I cancel my order?
  11. Going to order one now. My eero is linked to talktalk running another firmware they won't let you use after the service has ended anyway. And the only reason I'm using eero is black Friday deals alot of echo dots and echo pops now have wifi mesh capabilities making my upstairs speaker an extender. As you guys like to make do with "good hardware not the best" to keep prices in check. Have you considered some easy link WiFi extenders at a good price
  12. Will you ever add an option for the qos algorithms like fq codel and what not
  13. What's the steady ping heralds how does it work? Want more info on this sounds interesting. Will there be an option to still separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands as smart home bulbs and stuff won't work on WiFi 6/5ghz Is there a page for inputting a vpn still? My eero pro 6 router gets speeds of 600mb on wifi6 will this still bottom out around 600mb or will this router be able to get the full 900mb I've got. If 2.4ghz and 5ghz can be separated will I still have a wifi6 speed or will that be reduced? (If memory serves me wifi6 is achieved through 2.4and5ghz working together?
  14. After setting up a vpn if the router is switched off and on again the hybrid vpn page never reloads you are left with ot constantly loading and then the rapp is not loaded yet. Have to then factory reset which isn't straight forward on this firmware as you get dumaos app not running and the initial setup sometimes never happens. Are you aware of this?
  15. Do you know if port forwarding and leaving upnp on can mess up ports? I've got 3074 forwarded to ps5 and upnp is also detecting it and opening at the same time. Or has port forwarding not been set up correctly? Also when and if using qos now should you use gaming and voice or normal?
  16. I think if the new cod gets rid of the option for playstation to turn off cross play it won't be long before cod is plagued with pc players fighting for there lives on twitch and youtube trying to make a living cheating away. Simple fix for all the hackers was to add the option to do console vs console and even controller vs controller not spend stupid money on a fake anti cheat that doesn't work. If you buy a pc you know the boundaries of games opens up massively to cheats so you should live with that. Just put the option in the menu for console v console would solve loads of issues. As for the sbmm and manipulation I can honestly say from experience that a vpn genuinely brings back your audio and your aim assist. It works for around 10 20 games before you have to change locations though.
  17. Yeah I don't get why the 900mb line still only gets 100mb up USA get 1gb down and up
  18. Yeah I guess so. I'm using the xr500 without plusnet being dhcp it's hard to judge the 2 properly but Definitely notice upnp opening port 3074 for the first time ever. And upload ping underload is stable 27ms without qos. But on plusnet upload was through the roof
  19. Hello random bit of info any input from the devs/admin. Plusnet pppoe I had terrible upload ping around 100 to 150ms and jumping up and back down on a 300mb down 50mb up I recently went to talktalk 900mb down 100mb up and now have a stable 30ms download ping and 24 to 27ms upload ping on speedtest. In the uk all connections basically run through the same line apart from newer gigaclear and virgin media. I went with talktalk as only sky and talktalk use dhcp and most other fttp is pppoe just for the 1500mtu being set instead of it being 1492. (Peace of mind) But 1. Why is upload ping so bad on plusnet pppoe with all same equipment can a provider really have such bad upload ping. 2. I've noticed that upnp is operating properly for the first time ever opening port 3074 when loading up cod. Upnp has never opened any gaming ports other than the 9308 port for the playstation 5. Is this because dhcp works better than pppoe or because its not behind an email password it runs better I have no idea. Any input would be great
  20. I remember mw2 back in the day being from the UK but still getting put against USA completely random lobbies it's was great. Yeah I've only just come back after 4 weeks of playing other games I'll soon be off again. Can't wait for spider man 2 looks insane on ps5
  21. Just wanted to let everyone know cod genuinely does mess with hit reg server delay and everything else to what they would believe balance the game. However poopy footballers don't get given a 2 second headstart or a spare ball to kick around on the pitch. Recently I'd been having a horrible time on cod my kd ratio is 2.6/2.8 can't remember of the top of my head. I managed to go from plusnet (not good for upload ping at all) to talktalk 900mb down I get 940mb down and 100mb up I get 109mb up. I decided to play cod and test the new broadband out on the new eero pro 6 router wired (never played wireless), as you will know I obviously had a new IP address to the house the connection felt great fair gun fights could hear enemy footsteps I wasn't shooting first and dying if I shot first and hit I won the gun fight. After going on about 8 games of snd getting 16 to 1 14 to 2 kd ratios, I was booted from the cod servers to the main screen and had to reconnect. INSTANTLY FELT BEHIND AGAIN nothing had changed on my end. I could no longer hear footsteps as well my aim assist felt weak as screw like trying to aim without aim assist on an analog stick is not easy and anyone claiming aim assist should be taken of controller is delusional lol. The servers and location are not the issue here as I knew I was on the uk server my ping is literally 4ms (lag compensation is real). So I'm now back to the xr500 living in the uk and my geo filter set around Spain Italy and France this way my pings are around 11 to 15 on France 20plus on Italy and Spain. This helps but doesn't fix the reduced aim assist audio footsteps and hit registration. A VPN is the best way to try and combat this situation for me playing without a vpn and geo filter on cod now is like going into a rigged casino knowing your going to get your pants pulled down and there's nothing you can do about it. Without geo and without vpn I get uk server 4ms ping every game lag compensation is awarded to everyone else my hit reg is terrible and my audio is broken. Vpn on and geo on fair games decent audio decent hit reg CALL OF DUTY IS A BUISNESS TRYING TO GET MORE PEOPLE PLAYING AND THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN DO THAT IS TO MAKE SURE BAD PLAYERS STILL HAVE A HOPE IN KILLING GOOD PLAYERS AND IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. IF THEY DONT ENJOY GETTING KILLED THEY WONT KEEP PLAYING SO THEY GIVE THEM WEIRD KILLS THAT MAKE YOU SCREAM WTF DOWN THE MIC LMAO
  22. Had some issues again trying to upgrade firmwares. Had to install rc 10 and then rc14 after I did a factory reset and had a constant white screen with dumaos system not running. Had to get the laptop out and it started to run but froze on the "finding optimal bandwidth" reset from the pin and started installing again once the system started running red screen popped up I went straight to my phone and it loaded the page and went through all questions before getting the new dumaos setup. After the install I have had no issues with the app where as previously It was plagued with bugs and stuff.
  23. Ping feels better and in game shows it. I know cod has a ridiculous amount of sbmm style things happening in the back ground. But plusnet during peak times is purely horrendous I'd be interested to try a ping tool but never messed with one or understand how. Whiles I'm here I may aswell ask you is there any way to revert back to old firmware .56 from being in the newest beta firmware?
  24. Thanks I've not dabbled with ping plotter but know about qos and getting max mtu. Funny enough the video is almost laughable as once you change the mtu on your router your findings would also be effected? My mtu is 1492 on router and 1492 is my best when testing you obviously take away the header so it's like 1464 or something along those lines before fragmented packets. But let's say I change my mtu on router then my "best max mtu changes" it doesn't quite make sense you know?
  25. Okay so been thrown a life line it seems. I switched to plusnet fttp 300mb down 50mb upload. when me and partner moved in together saving some pennies but I feel like for gaming it's been a nightmare. I was previously with sky and had no issues on a standard fttc line 20mb down 5mb up. I've done some research and all/most use pppoe now meaning max mtu of 1492 which shouldn't be an issue (as research suggests mtu really has minimal impact) but apparently can be when gaming is involved sometimes putting strain on a routers cpu? Not 100% sold on this BUT. The ability sky and talktalk have to use dhcp "running there own backhual" Talktalk also offer amazon eero 6 routers now which doesn't support pppoe so they know something we don't maybe. Anyway to cut to the chase did sky work better for me back in the day because they run there own stuff and the ability to get max mtu 1500 constantly vs pppoe means I was actually getting better gaming performance. Or plusnets network is super over congested due to the low price broadband they offer. Would it be better to go with sky due to my previous experience being good or talk talk on the hopes that they have less customers and less congestion thoughts and opinions people go!!!
