The only known way to somewhat manipulate it is by playing in regions with low player counts (Majority of "low player count regions" are already flooded with people trying to do the exact same thing) SBMM?EOMM essentially tries to place you in a lobby as close to your skill level as possible. With a VPN that claims to bypass SBMM , Bot lobbies etc it simply changes your geo location and blocks servers outside the chosen region (like Netduma with a changed geo location)

MW2 Shoot First Die first? how to fix this?
Killerelite06 replied to ownal0t's topic in Call of Duty Support
This is my opinion and shouldn't be considered factually accurate. What works for you might not work for me and vice versa. From what I can gather the goal is to trick CoD into thinking your connection is bad and thus giving you advantage. I wonder how the system determines if you require connection based assistance or disadvantage. We have three servers in South Africa of which two are in Cape town and one in Johannesburg. Pings ranging from 4ms-22ms depending on which server I play I tried changing the MTU, throttling the speed and using a VPN but it made no consistent difference. It really does feel like some players "insta melt" you or they simply absorb full mags of damage. I don't personally think there is much we can do client side to gain a advantage when the server determines/manipulates the outcome of gunfights. -

@Netduma Liam @Netduma Fraser I resolved the whole iPhone Adblock/QoS issue. I must have enabled automatic HTTPS upgrade and HTTP/3 under Settings-Safari-Advanced settings in the past and as soon as I disabled those everything started working. -

No but I think this is related to the 14.5 update (it launches next week) so we can compare what might be wrong and if others are having similar issues. -

It does indicate that its prioritising the packets but it still wont open Netduma Forum , CharlieIntel (Opens Kickassanime but blocks the videos).I see on iOS 14.5 apple changed something to do with how ads are handled etc that could be the likely culprit (RIP forum staff when everyone updates if thats the case) -

Limited to the iPhone and it still happens if I have the Adblocker disabled. Only solution so far is turning off the QoS -

I noticed that if I turn off the QoS that Adblock doesn’t block anything on my devices. QoS - auto enable 95%/95% and I haven’t touched anything besides the auto setup and change speed -

DNS used :Cloudflare malware filter, Google dns , Quad9 dns and default ISP dns. Also tried disabling adblock completely and I still cant open the websites. iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 14.5 beta 8 Opens Kickassanime but wont play videos , wont open the Netduma forum and recently discovered CharlieIntel also won't open. I also disabled the private address option but it made no difference iPhone 11 Pro iOS 14.4.2 Opens all the sites no problem even with the private address enabled My other brand router opens the sites no problem on both phones -

Yes QoS/Adblock was fully disabled. Its super strange I can't even open the Netduma forum on my iPhone when using the Netduma R2 (Im unsure if its cloudflare 1.1.1.2 , the Iphone on 14.5 beta 8 or adblock itself causing the issue) On the plus side hit detection is amazing on Warzone and I actually enjoy hearing the death chat. -

Adblock is enabled on both the PC and iPhone but on the iPhone the videos don't load (kickassanime.rs if you want to test) If I set automatic width the Wifi maxes out at 54/54 instead of the 212/97 -

@Netduma Fraser 1. PPPoE is a option in the wizard but it doesn't auto detect I have a PPPoE connection so I have to manually set it up in the wizard. The WiFi password contains numbers, lowercase , uppercase and 1 symbol (This symbol $) 5. It would be nice to let it filter for malware , tracking but lets say leave out Ads . I noticed the same website works fine on my laptop but it wont load correctly on my iPhone. 6. I can select custom channels and it doesn't affect the speed but I cant switch the channel width to automatic. -

I ordered my Netduma R2 on Tuesday and I received it on Friday so props to the Netduma and DHL team. Firmware: 3..0.205 Browser: Google Chrome Connection: PPPoE 200/100 Setup: It doesn't detect my connection and the only way to get it working is by manually entering the PPPoE details under WAN after which it will say connection detected. It doesn't allow me to use my desired WiFi password (the password doesn't match when it clearly does) so I have to use the default one and change it later under settings. Geo-Filter: It's so reassuring knowing that all my lobbies will be local and I don't have to struggle with 200ms international lobbies (If I don't want to😏). We have encountered a few instances where it would search into oblivion not finding a game (South Africas gaming base isn't that big so that might be the issue) Ping Heatmap: Fun to see all the possible lobbies for each game and their associated ping. Some of the South African servers don't seem to be listed. QoS/Connection Benchmark: The auto-setup is a really nice feature but it does require some tweaking. I get little to no spikes after using the auto setup and according to Connection Benchmark I get A+ but when I run tests on DSLreports etc it reports a latency increase of 30ms+ under load. Adblock: One-click solution to block the majority of ads. Just wish there was a option to whitelist certain websites Wifi Settings: I figured out that if you select the automatic channel width it throttles the WiFi to 20Mbps (I initially thought it was like the XR500 WiFi region bug) UPnP: I know it's something small but Netgear never managed to fix the UPnP on their routers so it a welcomed surprise to have this functionality again. -
I reflashed my firmware and disabled Adblock on Chrome now it allowed me to change the settings.
-
Yes I did factory reset . Why does the MAC address affect the MTU/DNS page ? Yes I doubled checked the wifi password
-
I still can't change the DNS/MTU settings. I couldn't use my desired WiFI password due to the password not matching during setup (had to change it afterwards in settings)

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Killerelite06 replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
I said back in 2018 when the R1 Beta was launched that Netduma needs to communicate with the community to avoid impatience and general frustration. I feel both Netduma and Netgear needed to send out an email immediately after a potential beta tester registered to indicate in which wave(group) they are and which estimated date their waves download links will be sent out unless there's some major issue. This kinda leads me into my second point that if they wanted to alpha test the software with a limited control group they should have done so without notifying the community that there's a beta (you don't dangle a bag of candy asking the class who wants some and then just share with your friends). -
