Hey Fraser, Any idea why the the DumaOS web pages are not loading. I couldn't access the ping heatmap yesterday and today nothing is opening. All it is doing is trying to load the page. Also is there an update coming out for DumaOS?

Yes I was able to see but choosing whole of Europe with 0 ping assist the ping in multiplayer was constant 25-30ping and in warzone it was a solid 45-50. I then choose the U.K. only with 0 ping assist and I got 10-20 ms in multiplayer and 25-30 ping on warzone. games feel so much better, I will full test out tonight. thanks again for everything

I’ve tested your way and realised what the issue is. I am back on the U.K. polygon mode but with 0 assist and that has fixed it. no ping spikes, constant speeds as when I first got it. Any ideas why setting it to 0 is better then having it on 30 or even 15 ?

I have done the whole of U.K. France and Netherlands before as they are the best ping spots. Now what I don’t understand then if I set ping assist to 0 how will I get lower ping as you say to set ping around 30/50 so knowone else below that can join my game? Or isit so I get a low ping

I have uploaded two different ones to show you. I have tried to put ping assist as low as 5-15 and it takes age to find a game but connects to UK When i have it high on 70 it connects to a server no way even near. I have been running ping assist around 30 but all I see is when I try to connect to a game with lower ping assist the in game match making does connect me to a lower ping game for example on a ping assist filter of 5-25 i will get games on 17ms - 32ms ping on warzone but if i increase that as you see below to 70 I get games all the way yp to 90 ms ping on match making in game. this makes no sense to me at all.

I have done just France but warzone keeps connecting to the U.K. any ideas why that is ?

My closest server off the heat ping map would be the U.K. one and not France

So I will just do France and see then expand but not including Germany. would of be the router maybe be faulty ?

Even the fact I am based in the U.K. I should do Germany n France. I’ve checked the heat map and Germany has high ping 50+ where as the U.K. is 7-15 France is good like the U.K.

so rather then map it on polygon mode i should ping the geo filter in between the UK and France. also on the profiles shall i put call of duty then make the radius smaller or just do the radius by itself. I have added a pic up of the radius. Te second pic shows the server I am connecting to but there is one on the far right that always pops up why is that

I don't think its the game as if I am not using the R2 i get a constant ping and no spikes. but with the R2 on I am getting spikes. I will increase the geo filter range. I was thinking the geo filter ping assist shall I increase that number ? Finally would my R2 router have a defect or something maybe hence why the inconsistency

But my question is why is my ping spiking in game ? If my connection ping is around 7-14 why would it then spike. as I said initially before I got the r2 my ping was around 40-70. After I got the r2 it was 20-30 max but now it’s spiking up to 100 and I can’t even come close to get 20-30 ping. If I take the R2 off and use my main hun I go back to what connection I had before so it is something to do with the R2

The game ping jumps. the geo filter I have set the location to is just the UK severs as that is always 7ms - 14ms max. If i increase the polygon filter then the severs will have higher ping so I do not understand how my in game ping will be lower if my sever ping is higher ?

As you can see my ping is very good but once i jump in game it jumps to 50-100. I did what you suggested regarding the settings being changed etc but this hasn't helped. what can you suggest?

Also i wanted to ask. what is the host tick rate and client tick rate. As I am getting ping in game same as client tick rate. if you could help I am located where the blue circle is and not where the router thinks why is that also.

Hi I have done this, and see how it goes. I shall keep track over the next few days. Hey netduma admin, I last commented just about a week ago and still having the same issue. On my geo filter ping assit would that have something to do with it ?

I do not have any other device connected to any hub via Ethernet except my ps4 , I do have my laptop connected to the duma r2 via wifi, my mobile phone connected to my main hub and so it my TV. I have also over the past few days seen that I lose internet connection on my r2, I can not seem load the internet at all and also by Ethernet it doesn't work. however my main hub that is working and i can connect. I have to switch off the power off of the R2 and then back on for the internet to start working again which is really strange. I have only put the R2 in the wan port and nothing else on the main moderm. I currently have one DMZ active on my ee smart hub 2 which is for my playstaion from when I use to have it wired in. My bench mark results are below. I have uploaded two. I changed my QoS to 98% download and 98% upload and now I get A+ on all results.

So my physical set up is my duma r2 is connect to my ee smart hub 2 via the wan wort on a cat 6a cable. Then via a cat 6a cable from port one on the duma r2 to the back on my playstation. nothing else is hard wired in. I pay for 75 mb download and 20 mb upload. I am getting 66 mb download and 18,75 mb upload via the duma r2 benchmark feature. Speed is A, Ping is A+ and Ping under load is A. I am using QoS via the auto set up and congestion control auto enabled.

both to be fair. I just tested it, on Geo-filter it started with 7ping and then it jumped to 80-90 and in game it was around 100. Also on the Geo-filter the servers do not populate, it will show ping assist player and i believe that it me and not any other players.

The ping heat map shows 8-10 ping, I have used polygon mode to made the area around the UK as that is where I am based. also I have extended this to other parts of Europe and still the same issue. In game once I load in on multiplayer is starts at 20 then shoots to 100 ping at times When I am in warzone it starts 50 and shoots to 90 ping. I have done this already by going to device manager and done Playstaion and on the geo-filter i have added this is manually with the filter option on. Can you suggest something. Thanks

In regards to ping . Prior to using netduma r2 I was getting 40-60 ping with my normal router. Once I started using the r2 router I was getting 15-25 ping, on my Geo-filter I am getting avg 7-9 ping. But now I am getting ping around 50-90 ping which is similar to what I was getting before netduma. I feel my game does lag a bit more then what I was use too, However I feel its more the hit detection / bullet reg for example when I am playing call of duty warzone. I play on PS4, I have tried to set a profile however on the Geo-filter I can on set it to call of duty pc. Can you maybe suggest what the best filter to put on either call of duty pc or maybe engines? why my ping has gone up? also any suggestions how to get the best out of the Netduma r2. I currently get 75mb download and 20mb upload. If you need anything else let me know.

Hello When I got the R" it was working amazing but now I feel it ins't doing anything at all to my game play. My bandwidth is the same as my fiber connection and so is my ping. I have checked for optimized settings but that is all set correctly. I do not why the router isn't doing anything to help unlike when i first got it. Can you help with any suggestions?
