  1. I am in UK using DHCP full fibre connection. I tried it once got this message below. Tried 2nd time and same then lost connection to router said trying to reconnect with spinning wheel. All devices were still on internet though just the phone I was trying to run ping optimiser on lost connection. Ping Optimiser has encountered a problem. DumaOS is unable to complete the Ping Optimiser process due to external circumstances.
  2. Hi, so far it’s been online for Linksys and the 5 port switch connected via Ethernet for a day and a half! I have however had errors trying ping optimiser. Every time I try and use it says error can’t be done. Just waiting for the new firmware that I read somewhere on here coming anytime now.
  3. No haven’t chanced DHCP lease time. R3 was ok all night and this morning. I did turn tv on in morning to watch YouTube videos all ok. Then played on PS5 for hour. Still ok. Did some cleaning in house then sat down about 1 ish to watch some more YouTube vids on tv and it started off ok but after few vids it just lost connection.
  4. I will take switch off and just connect tv to R3 as I have a long 10m Cat6 Ethernet running from R3 to switch.
  5. Just checked and spanning tree protocol was already enabled on R3 should I try disabling it ?
  6. I have replaced R2 with R3. So fibre modem from wall goes into R3 blue port(internet) then yellow port 1 goes to (Linksys m4000 in bridge mode) this has WiFi enabled and 2 child nodes connected to it. Then yellow port 2 on R3 goes to TP link switch. It’s same setup I had using my old R2 that has been working for months no problem (apart from when I had power cut)
  7. When all is working and I goto network view I can see under wired the devices attached to switch I.e LG tv, ps5, Xbox and sky q. Then it just drops all Ethernet port devices from internet. Looking at LAN setting it shows port 1 connected (Linksys) and port 2 (5port tp-link switch) )connected both full speed. Yet the devices disappeared from network view. I use Linksys m4000 as mesh network have 3 of them. Main one is linked to R3 via Ethernet in bridge mode and other 2 nodes WiFi. I did have UPNP turned on in R3 and noticed one device had deamonware link! So I have blocked that device not sure what device but was unknown via WiFi. I also turned off UPNP see if that fixed it.
  8. Here is log file. Was working fine till about 1300 ish went to watch YouTube on tv and was working then just lost connection. R3_2023-12-14T13_06_09.392Z_logs.txt
  9. And... It's just dropped the Linksys and my 5 port hub off the internet. I can still get internet via the R3's Wifi but as the link sys which is connected via ethernet has been cut off everything else is not connected. Looking at network diagram the link sys and 5 port hub disappeared its like the R3 has just shut off ethernet ports. I managed to download log file. So it's not ISP cutting me off as can connect via R3 wifi still and get internet. Where do you want me to send my log file?
  10. Update. So I left R3 plugged in all night and no disconnects so far. That is a good call on the ISP as I had a power cut few months ago and it messed up internet for a week. They sent a new Linksys router and it fixed it. But I was using R2 with new linksys in bridge mode like I am now with R3. Hopefully all will be ok today. Only reason I am using Linksys is for the mesh network as have 3 of them around house. I can see instantly how much quicker internet is going from R2 to R3 even the Mrs commented! Just hope it stays up now!
  11. Using DHCP for Wan connection. I am trying new setup with just R3 and fibre modem. I had Linksys setup same way as I had it for R2 with no problems. Not sure if it was in DMZ or not. I have always had DHCP off on Linksys though. All routing and DHCP being done by R3.
  12. Oh forgot to say when devices loose connection and I goto Wan settings it says it’s saying online and connected. Yet no devices can get out to internet . They are showing connected to R3 just not being allowed out to internet. Do a reboot all is fine for 35-40 mins then disconnects everything WiFi and lan. I tried turning off IP6 wan and lan and also turned off ad blocker still no joy.
  13. I have the R3 connected to fibre modem (Airband UK) and have Ethernet connected to Linksys m4000 that only has WiFi 6 enabled. I also have an Ethernet cable connected to a 5 port hub that has my Xbox, PlayStation and tv connected to via Ethernet. On boot up everything is working fine really fast but after a random amount of time internet drops! Even devices on WiFi. If I reboot just the R3 it all connects again for another random amount of time normally 35-40 mins or so. I tried not rebooting R3 and just rebooted linksys and fibre modem and still no internet. I swapped R3 for R2 and been fine now for 2 hours! Something weird is going on. I will try and get log file next time it happens.
  14. I preordered within few minutes of preorders going live 🙂
  15. Just tried the mobile interface DumaOS 4 out on (iPhone 14 pro) wow it’s the full router settings not a cut down version. Saves me having to drag the laptop out each time I want to change the settings! I really like the new look to the menus. Need to try out some games now!
  16. Got my R3 today and just finished setting it up. DumaOS 4 loads so much faster ! Put IP address in and bang straight up! Took me 2 mins to configure! Just playing around with the new menus and LED settings at the moment but so far really impressed!
  17. Just ordered mine even though I love my R2 getting quite a collection of routers now lol got the XR700 as well. Just love Netduma OS ! Can’t wait for the R3 to arrive now 👍🏻
  18. Thank you for all your hard work bringing us this update for XR700 I know some people will moan about it but just let me say I for one am very grateful it exists ! Long live Netduma and the XR700!
  19. I would def be interested in testing the XR700 build when ready.
  20. Not as exciting as DumaOS 3 update but the XR700 got a small update today 1.01.34 lol New Features and Enhancements: Supports Plex media server version 1.19.5 Supports additional ISPs from Asia in the ISP profile list on Internet Setup page Bug Fixes: Fixes the SAMBA issue when the file size is greater than 2 GB. Security Fixes: Fixes security vulnerability issues
  21. Oh WOW! I was just thinking the other day how great it would be to have a dumaos based mobile app instead of the clunky Netgear app. I still can't get the device manager to show any devices on my XR700 with Netgear app. Really can't wait for DumaOS 3 and this mobile app to come to the XR700. Keep up the amazing work guys !! Hope its not to long now ...
