  1. I called my ISP and opted out of CGNAT. Restarted my router and restarted my Switch and I'm getting NAT type A now. Thanks for your help.
  2. I just found this on my ISP's website. https://www.aussiebroadband.com.au/help-centre/internet/tech-support/cg-nat/ The resolution seems to be to either purchase a static IP or talk to them about opting out of CGNAT.
  3. Yep, there's two lines in the response that have readings and then multiple request timed outs after that. I'm guessing I need to contact my ISP? What do I ask them to do?
  4. I have already tried that and there was only one line in the response. I will try again when I get home from work though just to make sure.
  5. The XR plugs into a data point in the living room which runs to a data point in the garage where the NBN Connection Box is plugged in. This link might be helpful: https://www.nbnco.com.au/blog/the-nbn-project/nbn-technology-101-what-is-fttp
  6. Hi Fraser, This is the internet connection I have at home: https://www.nbnco.com.au/learn/network-technology/fibre-to-the-premises-explained-fttp There is no modem that has a DMZ that I am able to put my XR500 into. Any other ideas?
  7. I have factory reset my XR500. I've given my Nintendo Switch a static IP and I have set that IP as the DMZ but I still get NAT Type D. I am on the latest firmware: V2.3.2.134 Any ideas on how to resolve this, please?
  8. So I completely reset Hybrid VPN and set it up from scratch. Added my PC to the VPN and had no ports under "Do NOT VPN these services." and my IP address was still being detected. I have decided to turn Hybrid VPN off and use the ExppressVPN app installed locally on my devices instead. I will try it again after the next major update. Perhaps having ExpressVPN as an option on the basic setup will resolve the issue. Thanks for your time.
  9. So I now have the following ports listed under "Do NOT VPN these services." on my device. TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (3074:3074) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (27014:27050) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (4379:4380) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (7000:9000) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (5000:5500) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (8393:8400) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (2099:2099) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (5222:5223) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (27000:27100) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (6120:6120) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (80:80) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (443:443) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (1119:1120) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (3097:3196) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (3724:3724) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (4000:4000) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (6112:6114) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (7500:7509) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (30000:30009) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13000:13000) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13005:13005) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13200:13200) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (14000:14001) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (14008:14008) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (1935:1935) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (3478:3480) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (3478:3479) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (3658:3658) UDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (4646:4646) I can join and host the odd game but I'm still having the issue more or less. ExpressVPN got back to me and said "ExpressVPN doesn't block any ports. With your problem, it is possible that the game itself only allows certain IPs to pass through their servers or they do block VPN IPs for security reasons." On a side note, when I do an IP check on ExpressVPN's website it shows my IP when on my PC, but when I do the same on my phone which has every single port running through the VPN it says I'm protected. Might just go back to having ExpressVPN installed locally on my PC and disconnect from it when gaming. It will fix both the issue with UNO and my IP not being protected. Let me know what you think.
  10. Ok awesome. I thought I had it setup right in regards to ports 80 and 443 haha. So should I set ports 80 and 443 under "Do NOT VPN these services." on every device? I've only been doing it if I run into issues. Where did you find the information about those ports please? Could be handy in the future. I do have other ports set to not use the VPN, I only copied the ones relating to UNO in my original post. I will add the ports you suggested and also paste every rule I have in regards to ports not using the VPN. I will be home from work in 6 hours. Not sure what time that is in your timezone but I'll respond here with the results ASAP. Thank you.
  11. Which is why I thought having them under "Do NOT VPN these services." would be the correct thing to do. If I remove ports 80 and 443 from "Do NOT VPN these services." I will no longer be able to watch Foxtel GO (Australia Pay TV) on that device. But I will try it and see after work like I said. Is my way of setting up the Hybrid VPN ok (Checking what ports games need and adding them under "Do NOT VPN these services.")? Weird that it does not work with UNO but I will do some research and see if ExpressVPN blocks any ports. If they do then do I need to manually port forward those ports or can I simply add them to "Do NOT VPN these services."?
  12. .
  13. I'm unsure how putting ports 80 and 443 back under the VPN could resolve the issue considering it all works fine when I turn the VPN off. Makes more sense that adding more ports under "Do NOT VPN these services." would resolve the issue. But I will try after work today. I am using ExpressVPN. I do not know if they block any ports. No devices are currently using the Geo-Filter. That was the first thing I checked as I found out it was the reason I was getting a Moderate NAT in CoD: MW. I now add devices to Geo-Filter only after I have booted up the game I want to play.
  14. Do NOT VPN these services.
  15. I am having issues connecting to games on UNO on PC. I know that issue is with Hybrid VPN due to the fact that I have no issues if I turn it off. Uplay requires the following ports so I have setup the VPN to not apply to those ports: TCP: 80, 443, 13000, 13005, 13200, 14000, 14001, 14008. Doing this has worked perfectly on every other game I play but not with UNO. The setup next to my device in Hybrid VPN looks like this: TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (80:80) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (443:443) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13000:13000) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13005:13005) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13200:13200) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (14000:14001) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (14008:14008) As of right now the only solution I can see is to turn the VPN off when I want to play UNO which I would obviously prefer not to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
