ok I will move the geo filter around this week and report back this weekend

Ive tried from 60 to 100 on sliders and I have tried simple and expert with no change. I even went as far as buying a public ip to get away from cgnat

No matter what setting I have on the r3 Im shooting marshmallows in all fps games. I have 500/500 down fiber by Live Oak with MoCA 2.5 because where I live atm, I can't run wired from the ONT. I gave the sliders at 70/70 steady ping at 32ms because I have one of my hops between 11ms and 7ms. My base ping to the servers is about 15ms to 19ms, depending on which server in Atlanta I connect to. We don't have a lot of activity its just me and 1 other person using the internet I use wired, and they use wireless. I have the 70/70 set to always. I've tried turning off steady ping and smart boost, and it's still the same results. Does anyone know what I'm missing? I forgot to mention I am on the last R3 firmware as I have only had it for 2 weeks.

i got it working not sure what i did but it works now

I am on brave it was working last night but not today and im on .540. i am using the ps5

I just got the r3 yesterday and the servers are not showing on the geo map nor the heat map. I have removed it and put it back I’ve checked the device manager and everything but nothing seems to work. Am I missing a step ?

got ya thanks.

so with the steady ping will it help with the jitter at lets say hop 4 on your route? the jump is only 7ms but if the steady ping lets say gives you 25ms will the server feel like it soother with better hit detection or will it still feel like your shooting marshmellows?

I have to wait until I get another netduma. I mostly play the finals thats the only reason i was wondering
-
Did they ever get this game added to the geo filter? if so how well does it perform?
-
It’s not sbmm it’s the eomm algorithm that’s giving the issues as it manipulates the in game experience.
-
Which router would you recommend? I was looking at the orbi but I don’t think it’s been released yet
-
ok great thank you.. I know it only goes to 1gig and I would lose half however is there a router with duma os on it that goes over 1 gig?
-
Ok great thank you guys for the information. Would the r2 be a good investment for this since it’s speeds are only 1gbp as they sent me an offer for 2gbp for $70 a month. How many users can be on the r2 before it slows down ? If I get the r2 should I get a couple ap to take some of the things off the r2 ?
-
ok great so its more in-home congestion than being over-congested with cable and outside congestion ?
-
So I’m looking at getting fiber internet all the way to the modem it’s 500 up and 500 down. With this connection is there as much buffer bloat as there is with cable ?
-
thanks tray and frasier I will check out the thread
-
Would it benefit me to get a r2 with t mobile 5g service or would I just be wasting my money? it works fine until congestions in the home starts like multiple tvs thats when I start getting packet loss

How well is the 8200 holding up? I'm looking to upgrade to this modem. but I'm not sure since the earlier model has the puma. Does this modem have it or the Broadcom? -
Is there a updated list for this for the gigabit modems ?
