  1. Got this from Netgear's site... from what I can tell they are calling it 'Game Booster'. Don't know how reliable the info is. I personally was hoping for something similar as I need a mesh system at my house versus one router (I have dead spots). I have a Google nest and it won't allow the mesh part to work unless their router is first. So can't do R2 > Google router > Satellite pods... Game Booster KyleK 2023-01-17 12:24 PM Is this service ever going to be released? It was supposedly going to be released in the first quarter of 2022 and still nothing in 2023. Any info on this please? Message 1 of 4 FURRYe38 2023-01-17 12:33 PM I believe this was cancelled. 2. From what I've read no, the others cannot be connected to another router.
  3. I've heard from a google forum that one of the pods (buy them in 2 or 3 packs) acts like a router. That google did it that way to prevent them from becoming APs. You can run Modem > R2 > Google Mesh router but the draw back is the router is the ONLY pod able to work that it will not connect to the other 2 pods due to not being connected to the modem. Could anyone confirm? Also, if I did run it Modem > Google pod > R2, would I still have the benefit of the geo-filter? I'd lose the congestion control I'm assuming.
  4. I've got a close to 3k sq. foot house with the internet connection downstairs. It's a ranch style house. I have the Google Mesh system (pods) and it works GREAT. However, there's only 2 ports. One for the internet from modem, and one additional port which I have the PS4 Pro hooked into. The router pod connects with the other 2 pods wirelessly, to spread the Wi-Fi signal throughout the house so I have no dead spots. My main gripe is that there is NO QOS built in and we have 23 devices at home. Alexa's, Amazon fire sticks, Rokus, cell phones, laptops, PS4, etc. Anyone know a work around? I'm thinking this wouldn't work? I could use it just for the geo-filter right and the rest wouldn't be useable, correct? As the main pod acts as a router to connect the other two pods.
  5. So I get 20-25 ms ping to server but my in game says 40-45 ms... great gameplay. I gotta try it out. how far are you from the actual server?
